The braided one that I had on my old gas torch I was using is fine but I intend to switch to the leather one when it comes to water cooling (it will fit better) I have found leather to be a lot
My understanding of this question is a bit broad, so I'm not sure how to answer it. Each torch of the 9/20 series comes with the same type of collet, collet body, and shielding cups. Using this will not affect your existing parts if you have a 9/20 series torch.

My air cooled torch is so much nicer. In spite of welding very heavy materials for a long time with no issues with the torch being too hot, I am able to enjoy welding in spite of the heat. I used to have an air cooled torch that heated up and the gas line would sometimes become soft and pop off from the heat. When it comes to switching to a water cooled set, I can offer you this advice You won't regret it, so get up and do it. It feels great to use the hoses, they are super pliable. I hooked it up to my city water supply instead of a cooler system and it worked with my Thermal Arc 185. This hose length fits my needs quite well considering that my shop is pretty small. The 25 foot one would have been a bit overkill for me.
I waited a long time. What was the point? It seems like there is a lot of discussion in the market about air cooled torches. What a bunch of nonsense that is. After many years of putting off the purchase, I finally got a water-cooling that the torch has cooled down, long runs can be completed without stopping every few miles. My wait was much longer than it should have been.
The advertised product was delivered. That's a nice torch.
I used a CK flex head for this project. Basically, I don't have to say anything.
