However, when I tried to use it, the Tap provided in the kit for the 1/4-inch head bolt broke as soon as I tried to use it I discovered that 20 coils were the wrong size because the kit inventory is on the inside lid of the kit, which refers to the exact Helicoil tap that should be used for each coil size. The 1/4-inch tap that was included was the wrong one. Helicoil part number 20 coils appeared to be incorrect, and helicoil tap 20 coils was actually meant only to be used for Metric M6 coils and not 1/4-inch coils This coil has a 20 inch diameter. The next day, I contacted Stanley Tools who produce Helicoil to check my findings and was informed by them that I was correct and that the kit should be returned to the seller.
