More information or a description would be appreciated. I had no idea there were so many different types of banding tools. br>For a beginner like me, I hope the seller included the appropriate clamp type with this tool.

For use with Dorman or Bandit clamps that have little fold-over ears

If you purchase a Dorman universal CV Boot Kit, such as the 614-, you will be able to use it on any vehicle. 614-0001 or 001-0001-0001-0001-000 003 It will include the Clamp Types that this Tool is designed to work with. br>br>I used the Tool on eight CV Boot Clamps and it performed flawlessly. It was strong enough and adequate for the job. The instructions for use can be found on the back of the bubble pack. br>The Clamp tightens the Band and allows you to fold it over so that the two little ears on the Clamp can be folded down over it to secure it. br>br>Because the Tool was not designed to do that part of the job, you'll need to find something small to hammer over the little Ears on the Clamp. Simply put, it is inexpensive and effective. br>br> br>br>(Not related to the Tool, but to cut off the excess metal part of the Clamp, you'll need a Tin Snips or extremely sharp Diagonal type Wire cutters. ) )br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative The Oetiker type CV Boot clamps are not compatible with this tool. that squeezes and tightens the Clamp with a Pliers-type tool If you're not sure which one you have, you'll need to conduct some internet research to learn more.
