There is a lot of conflicting information out there. Is there a way to tell if the digital gauge is showing toe degrees or not? The majority of manufacturer specifications are given in degrees, rather than inches. ?

Greetings, Leo.br>br>Thank you for your inquiry. The tape measures from side to side on the frames are used to measure the toe. The tape measures are in both standard and metric measurements. Inches and degrees will be reflected in toe alignment specifications. From 1960 to the present, we have a database that includes both. 2019 br>br>The gauge is used to measure caster and camber in degrees, as specified in most specifications. br>br>I hope this information is useful.

The quick trick is accurate for measurements, but it could use a few tweaks

To align my 1969 Ford F150 and 2008 Ford F150, I've been using a quick trick. This is the first time I've ever used an alignment tool. But, unless you just wanted a measurement, I didn't see anything quick. To align your vehicle, you'll need a four-wheel lift as well as turntables. I built a ramp and sandwiched my front tires between two pieces of Formica greased together. The gauges kept turning off while I was taking measurements because the battery saving mode was too short, and the gauge assembly would fall off the wheel after a few measurements when I turned the wheels to get caster measurements. I cinched them down as much as I could. To keep the gauge assembly on the wheel, you'll need a strap. Degree wheels are required to set toe in in degrees because the gauges do not measure degrees for toe in. The majority of toe in alignment specifications are in degrees. The quick trick, on the other hand, can get you pretty accurate alignments. It gets the job done.

This is a very useful program

For the price, this is an excellent set that is simple to use and accurate enough for most vehicles. Small shops and do-it-yourselfers will love it. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the fact that you have to disassemble it to put it back in its case.

The concept is sound, but it's made of only two thin sheets of aluminum, making it a poor quality tool

The product does exactly what it says on the tin. I believe it should be made of a slightly heavier material in order to make it more rigid and precise.
