You're overthinking it, but the damned thing is great. I bought it for my 2007 Toyota Rav4 and have had no problems with it.

Is there a zerk grease fitting on this ball joint?

It's made with cow's milk, duhhh.

Is the cotter pin and castle nut included in the package?

I believe both were included despite the fact that it has been a few months. I was able to remove the old ones with ease and reuse them, but I chose to use the new ones instead.

Is it a pair or a single ball joint that comes in the box?

In each box, there is only one ball joint.

2 months later, it finally gave up the ghost

I had these installed, and the druver side one had already failed a week ago. An experienced mechanic installed them correctly. They've already broken, I'm not sure how. Junk.
