It should, as far as I know. There are only two spark plug sizes in use by BMW, 12mm and 14mm 12-plugs There are no sockets at points.
BMW uses 12-volt systems, to the best of my knowledge It is best to use 12-point spark plugs The point should be 14mm or 12 mm Depending on the model of your Bimmer, use sockets that fit 16mm spark plugs.
There is no way that it will work with Mercedes Spark Plugs the sockets are too shallow for Mercedes/BMW/Audi spark plugs. This will work with Mercedes Spark Plugs ASOF 14mm &amp ASOF 16mm A 16mm thin wall spark plug socket for 12 volts The Point Removal Tool is a set of three 3/8 inch square drive tools
As a consequence, I had to return it. It did not work for 2017 Porsche Panamera. In regard to VW, I have no idea.

There are a dozen or so spark plug or igniter plug sockets in my collection. The spark plugs on my wife's mini today are embedded in the valve cover by 12 points. My needs for spark plug sockets are increased because I need to purchase two more aircraft, muscle cars, and trucks. In terms of value for money, these two are a great bargain. There is no harm in using magnetic plug holders with iridium plugs at around 5 to 9 dollars each to help the ball socket move smoothly, if you desire. You could also place a bit of lubricant into the ball socket to help it move smoothly. It's a good investment to drop one of these sockets and the cost is not expensive.
It has a deep hole at the deep end that you need in order to fix the coil connector to the plug. It also has a magnetic connection so you won't have to watch out for the plug when you're installing or removing. This is also a thin walled bottle, so it fits in. In my 2004 BMW R1500R, it would have been impossible for me to change the plugs.
It was a bit of a challenge, but it worked great and the locking extension made sure that I did not drop the socket inside the engine. Magnetic part was decent, probably could have been stronger due to the extreme angles that I was working at because I was concerned I could knock the plug out.
A few moments ago, I replaced plugs in my daughter's car. The Subaru Forester that belongs to my mother-in-law. A job that previously took more than three hours was reduced to just over an hour by this socket. During the replacement, I found the spring action to be truly useful as I felt each plug across the socket. I would definitely buy from them.
My Xterra was well taken care of by them.
I have no complaints so far with its quality. In each, a magnet is strong enough to hold it firmly in place.
Good for hard-to-reach or recessed spark plugs. Make sure to lubricate the wobble part. It would get stuck until I sprayed some silicone grease on, then worked fine.
When I changed the spark plugs on my 2001 Lexus ES300 3, another great addition to my tools worked very well.
