This is a product I have never purchased. Adapters that could be used to check engine compression were the item I got in the mail. I really enjoyed working with them

Does anyone know if this will work with a Ford Triton 3valve V6 from an 2008 or later model? Could you please let me know when exactly (2010 to be exact)?

The spark plugs have 16mm threads and you should verify this by checking the thread on your spark plugs. The 16mm is not for those triton engines as far as I know.

Is it possible to find out what thread pitch the long adapter has? The 2011 Ford F450 V10 has a 6 cylinder engine, I am trying to check it out. This is 8L. The compression tester won't fit is it because I'm too fat?

My knowledge of the thread pitch on these adapters is limited, since I have used them on small engines and would be afraid to use them on my Ford It is important that I retain it from the plug portal after it is removed from my tester for fear that it will become loose.

Does this adapter work with the majority of compression gauges?

The pressure release button will be on the gauge body, typically on the gauge neck, where they will work on a compression gauge. Rather than using a schrader valve, some gauges use a schrader valve in the adapter tip to keep the pressure charged long enough for the gauge to read, thus these adapters do not accept schrader valves.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE A VICTIM Unlike other kits, this one does not come with a "14mm x 1" ruler. It says it fits "W80579 compression tester and others with a 14mm x 1-1/4" which is what I needed, but in the description it states, "Fits our compression tester W80579 and others with a 14mm x 1-1/4". ". It does include "14mm x 1. 5 male thread", so the description is not false advertising, but if you do not pay attention to detail as I did when reading it then you may purchase this set believing that it included a "14mm x 1. 5 male thread". A male thread of 25 is needed, and it does not come with one. Therefore, buying this set ended up costing me a lot of money, as it includes four adapters that I didn't need and does not include the one that I need. my fault and not the fault of Amazon or of the seller, so I'm not blaming them, but once again, BEWARE the buyer because this set does not contain the "14mm x 1" aperture. In this set you will not find a male thread 25" so if you need one, look elsewhere because it is not included.

Great adapter that fits really low and is easy to use. I feel much better about buying this instead of another tester. In my opinion, I worried about these adapters not working with my different brand testers not in the right way. Yet they were able to do the trick!.
