I will order this spark plug 14mm socket for my MINI Cooper Countryman R60. It is difficult for fellow MINI owners to make decisions about buying this part since there is such limited information on the socket and fit. Since there is very little information available, I took some detail pictures to provide some help for other MINI owners. A thin walled socket fit for BMW and MINI is described in the description. Inside the socket is a strong magnetic ring that grips the plug firmly and holds it securely. Having a slot for the metal ball in the square hole that holds the drive gear in place makes it secure and easy to use. Spark plugs for my MINI are from NGK. From the image, you can see that the plug fits seamlessly into the socket without any The big test is still installing my plugs, so that's the big test.
I hope these images are helpful to others as well.
In all the years I have been replacing spark plugs, I have never met one that wasn't reachable with a standard "spark plug socket". Before I changed the plugs in my wife's BMW X3, I had never tried to change the plugs on her car. I'd call it pretty thin but it's nice I had a walled, motorcycle spark plug socket that could not reach the plugs far enough down the hole, but this one could. There is also a magnet in the plug, so the socket comes out easily with the plug. Whenever you need this tool, you must have it. I don't know why manufacturers design engines to make use of this, but if you need it, you must.
There is a 6mm difference between a regular 14mm socket and a thicker one. The spark plug socket has a thin wall and is fantastic. There are no defects in the finish It is unlikely that you will ever need a tool like this, but when you do, nothing else will suffice. In the video, you can see what I mean. Panovo 14 mm is about 1. 1 inches thick, with a thin wall. A 5 or a The socket on this card is 6 mm thinner than the one I have in my 14mm 12 position card. Panovo sockets are 18mm in diameter, and regular sockets are about 19mm in diameter. I believe it is about 6mm. It's this difference that moves it far down into the S63tu year, enabling it to reach the iridium plug that's way Shipping from the seller was quick and the packaging was great as well. It may be a bit difficult to unwrap the tea from the plastic, but that's the price of having good packaging,.
There is a magnet inside the plug that holds it in place I was able to change all 8 spark plugs on my car with no issues. The product is made out of high-quality This is an excellent book!.
Because the spark plug socket I used is thin walled, I first used my Sears Craftsman socket to loosen it, then I switched to the magnetized Panovo socket to remove it. The Panovo magnetic socket was used to start the new spark plugs and the Sears Craftsman socket was used to tighten the plugs down.
The magnet has about medium strength, and I replaced six spark plugs with it successfully. My only issue with the magnet was that it was a bit Based on the way the magnet is constructed, I believe this is very sturdy and I will not have any issues with it breaking apart (like I have seen with other products).
I work on many BMWs and have two sockets that I purchased just for them, but this one is even better. With a magnet, it works very well as it fits without a flex joint. What's funny about this is that I bought it to fit a Toyota Corolla with a valve cover hole so small that nothing I had would.
Everything worked according to plan. I used this specific socket to remove spark plugs from my 2014 BMW 650i with the N63tu motor and it worked perfectly. I had expected any socket to work, so I expected this one to fit perfectly for the Since I have only used it eight times (per cylinder), I am unable to speak on its durability, however I believe it to be of It was good that it had been done in under 24 hours, because I had to drive the car on the next.
