EWK 14mm 12 Point Thin Wall Magnetic Spark Plug Socket 3/8 Inch Drive Compatible for BWM, Mini Cooper, Nissan

It has four cylinders and is 5L in size. purchased this socket because I did not have a 14mm spark plug socket, and needed to replace the plugs in my wife's car. I prefer the magnetic SP sockets over the rubber insert. It's great to have magnetic spark plug sockets because they can keep the plug in place without the rubber insert. The rubber insert gets oily and dirty over time and dries out. In time, the rubber slowly falls out and the plug falls I have even had the rubber part of a socket stick to a plug when I first used it (or remains in the plug when I take it out). The magnetic sockets are better, but small metal pieces stick to the magnet (cheap sockets)

The downside, however, is that cheap sockets come with cheap sockets. The metal pieces can be difficult to remove, but they can be removed. While not in use, it is recommended that you keep it in storage. You should keep the socket away from the ground when you are cutting metal, for example, and away from dirty toolboxes which accumulate metal filings or rust over time. There isn't much else you really need to know Because the sidewalls on the Altima were relatively thin, it worked on the car. Now that I have two sizes of spark plug sockets, my collection is complete. Iradium plugs are fragile, so be sure not to This isn't the way they're supposed to be worn. When you buy a gap plug, make sure it is the right one. The gap had been off due to a drop of an old plug after I was done. I would have had to purchase a replacement plug in the event that I dropped a new plug.

I used it to replace spark plugs in I found it to be perfectly functional. Additionally, I also have a 2013 BMW, so that will come in handy again when it comes time to change those plugs.

A thin wall design allows it to fit down a very narrow hole, and the magnetic properties allow it to grasp onto the new plugs as you lower them down and turn them on. It is vital your cart contains a 12" inch extension, so add it to your cart if you do not have one. I can't believe how deep those plugs go!.

I have a 2019 Nissan Sentra and I had to get this thin wall 14mm socket to change my spark plug. I was so glad to find this in my auto parts store, the one I was looking for was not available.

Magnets with poor performance. I broke it when I pulled the first plug out. The cylinder had to be purchased again so magnetic shards would not fall into it. Make sure the one you buy is better.

A nice unit, I bought it to replace spark plugs in my 2008 Prius, but 14mm is not the right size. It was the plug diameter, not the size of the socket. As it turned out, I had a lawnmower that used this size socket, so I could use it.
