Will this work on a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek for spark plugs? Thank you. ?

On a 2013 Crosstrek, it worked fine for spark plugs. I am not sure if it will work for a There seems to be no difference between the two engines.

The socket has a diameter of what size? Would 5/8 work? Do you have something else in mind?

The measurement is 14 mm in metric. It is compatible with ratchets with a 3/8" drive.

You have the 2ZR- if you have a Corolla The First Education (FE1) The tool will provide you with the results you need if you have an engine with an 8L. When you install a new plug, locking extension slips right out of the way, so you cannot remove it
3/5

Then read on! Having tried to remove my spark plugs with this thin wall socket, I kept having to reattach it to The other sockets I have, however, firmly lock onto the extensions, so it must be an issue with those. I'm to blame for not being able to use this spark plug socket because it doesn't lock on to the extensions like it should. The only thing I'm glad about is that I verified the socket's locking ability BEFORE I actually removed the plugs. Once I get a spark plug socket that locks on like it's supposed to, I'll have to tear down my engine again. I hope you all have an amazing day this week!.

The tool is well priced, but it is a one-time use tool
3/5

It is not good that there is no lock hole on this extension, especially for an item such as this that is hard to reach. Despite its light weight, the tension holding spark plug is very strong. Do you expect the fingers to be durable over the Plug sockets of this type can be found from other vendors in sizes that are 3 and 4-pins They would have sold to me if they had been available in this odd size for 4x the price. The tool is ideal for light-duty work at an affordable price. However, it's not a professional quality tool, which is why it's so cheap. *Breakdown of changes Having used this item about 20 times now, we're familiar with it well. An SUV from the Range Rover series. On Ducati race bikes, the balance is between the F0 and the F150. NGK plugs are used on the Ducati, RR and Ford, while Motorcraft is used on the Ford. The NGK plugs no longer fit this socket tightly, especially the Ducati plugs. I did try the old Motorcraft plugs I had not discarded and they do feel much more snugly retained than either NGK, but this socket is much looser than when it Despite all leaf spring retainers appearing to be intact, the plug retaining mechanism is of too light a construction to handle the heavy loads. A serious flaw concerns the lack of a through hole for fitting the locking extension. 1 14mm spark plug socket if you're currently using a 14mm spark plug socket In the case of this item, it fits the bill only for a short period. Unless you want to spend your pennies on this tool, this tool is certainly not for you. There was a sparkplug out of 45 dollars & Something has broken. Adding this loss to the cost of the Snap-on would have allowed the company to buy the security camera system I learned a costly lesson this way.

Does it work? The socket performs the function intended for it
3/5

But the indentation in the socket doesn't line up with the tension of the ratchet ball. This results in the socket falling off when the spark plug is removed.

Make sure that the grip mechanism is handled carefully
5/5

The system is used in engines with N20 engines and F32 This product did not live up to its It is rather difficult to use the grabbing mechanism, since sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I recommend getting the #4 spark plug in particular. To get rid of them, I spent a total of 30 minutes. Generally, the plug will not let go if it doesn't let go, which causes the socket to get stuck in the cylinder and it's a pain in the royal bum to get it out again.
The best way to ensure the plug is out completely is to u screw it for an extended period of time.
You should also apply pressure to the top of the ratchet, making sure it doesn't.

I found it to be of great quality, and it made replacing plugs on my 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman S quick and easy! After I replaced 4 new spark plugs in my 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman S (R55), my spark plug socket kept disconnecting after screwing in the new plugs
5/5

While I was able to retrieve the socket, the process of replacing the 4 plugs was painfully slow. The ATLIN Thin Wall Spark Plug Socket 12 point 14mm is also part of the order, when I ordered my new spark plugs. This socket did the job, and it fits my 3/8" drive. It was bigger than my previous one because it didn't disconnect after installing and torqueing the new spark plugs, and the build quality was great. This will be a keeper in my vehicle toolbox now!.

In order to use a Mini, you need this socket
5/5

There is no other way to put it. The RS232 dongle was the only thing I could use to see what was wrong with my Mini when it went limp. When I pulled up the misfire code using Torque on my mobile phone, it was on cylinder 2, so I was lucky. After ordering the coil and plug for my Mini, I looked them up on the internet right away. It was delivered the next day and I put them in. Getting to the coil and spark plug on a Mini is easy with a thin profiled socket, but removing the coil requires removing the wires. As well as the spark plug I had to order the thin profile socket to go with it. Trust me, you need a thin profile socket to work on the MINI. If you use a regular socket, you will damage the mobile phone. Just go ahead and buy it, you will be glad you did when you replace the plug in a matter of minutes. It is also necessary since you will not get a regular socket on the plug without it The plug will bind to the ways in the head of the plug. As soon as I closed the bonnet and started the car again, the car was out of limp (safe) mode and was operating It is probably a good idea to get the three remaining coils and plugs at some point in the near future. I know where they are located. Despite the limitations of this socket, it should still work. There is a lot of value in it.

The product is well made, but may not fit every application
3/5

As promised, the product was received in good condition. Rotorcraft SP-85 was to be replaced Five hundred and forty-seven spark plugs were installed on the 2007 Four. Here in my shop, I have a Ford Mustang 0 engine. As a result, the plug could not be unscrewed from the cylinder head with that tool. I think the design needs to be modified - it would have worked perfect if it was about 5 mm deeper to accept the plug. Since I had to return the tool, I had to purchase a different one that would work. My tool box would not work without the tool, and I would like to keep it. I have been accepted on my application. Since I had to make some changes in order to move on from this old shop, I had to upgrade the tools. The tool looks and feels like it is well made, and looks as if it'll last a long time.

It might work, but most likey wouldn't unless there was something else
3/5

However, it isn't the perfect fit for the ratchet, swivel or extension, though it is the right fit for the spark plug. The connector gets stuck in one of my cylinders because it disconnects so easily. After that, I had to work for a good three minutes to get it out. The male wrench may need to be plugged into a small piece of cardboard so it will not fall out. Put the cardboard along the walls of the socket and plug the male wrench into your socket. Purchasing a spark plug socket for $15 would make you think you wouldn't have to deal with such a simple issue.
