No, the battery is not replaceable or reversible. It is obvious that you can cut it out if you don't want it.
am not sure how to measure the mesh as it is very fine, less than one micron thick.
Since I am at work and I do not know what the exact dimensions are, I can say that it is large and good for filling up your equipment for no splashing gas or diesel. I like that it has a screen to keep out dirt at the same time.

This is too large to fit into the transmission dip stick hole of a 2007 Honda Odyssey.
Upon receipt of the funnel, the extension had been attached (demanding a larger box than needed Funny how that works out). It took me a moment to realize that the extension's tapered end had been wrongly inserted into the funnel after looking back at the picture of the product page. Both the funnel and the extension actually have threads on them Attached to the former is the latter. Be careful not to damage the threads since the fit is quite tight (the first time I screw it on, I had to use pliers to screw it all the way on) and it is a somewhat pliable plastic. Despite the tightness, it is a good thing. Not a leak to be found. As long as it is assembled correctly, it is a good product.
The purpose of this is to help me change the transmission fluid on my It was a little bit broken when it arrived, but not enough to be an issue. it was short enough for me to be sure I wouldn't pull it out when I was pouring, I had heard from others that it was suitable for the Prius. My solution was to slip a short length of 3/8" Tygon tubing over the end of it and it worked fine.
If this is something you'll deal with frequently, choose something stronger. In my opinion, as long as it is something that you will not need very often, then it is fine.
I had it on a shelf and it was pinched, which made it crack. Even so, I couldn't help but make due with a little duct tape, and the mechanical part fit well and performed the task of routing the fluid around the bend in a tiny hole that I hadn't thought about. The book will be mys for quite a while!.
Serious issues were caused as a result. In the past, I have used this funnel to put fuel stabilizer into I am trying to figure out how to get the end of the tube out of the vehicle after it came apart.
I failed to find a suitable replacement because the lip sits so shallow in the refill tube that it was quite awkward and some spillage occurred. As a beginner, I'm sure some of the awkwardness is my own. But a deeper lip on the narrower bottom edge would have been much more effective.
I typically fill up through the tranny dipstick hole on the Subaru, so this is not a problem most of the time. While thick transmission fluid may be unpleasant to deal with, it's still necessary. This will take a while, as the tube is only flexible at every 2 inches or so. I only gave it 3 stars because it is not well-designed to be flexible. Despite its inflexibility, I feel that it works for what it is. It might be nice if it was flexible throughout. Also, the funnel part (red part) does not appear to be stiff at all.
to receive a very large box which contained only this very lightweight funnel (wonder I feel that the hose is very lightweight (IMHO Is it fragile? can probably be used for a few purposes.
