There is a 5/8 - sign here It is 18mm, so it should fit OTC 4421, which says it has a 5/8 - 20 stud I know they don't screw into each other, but are they not interconnected?

There are two halves of it The 5/8-inch is required for 20 , so you should use it Adapter 18 is connected to the 18-wire bus. I have an adapter that came with it

When used with vise grips, does the threaded end fit at the back?

It is possible, but vise grips come in different sizes, but the threads appear to be standard.

There is no fitting for the Welds and dents are pulled out

Using this tool in conjunction with a stud welder in tight areas is the ideal solution for removing dent from hard-to-reach areas. We are disappointed to discover that there is no fitting to secure a stud, which is very unfortunate. As a matter of fact, it has no fitting. A paperweight is an expensive accessory to begin with, so it is already a pricey tool.

It works well, but attaching it to other otc tools isn't as easy

The thread adapter on the attachment (for the 4421 Pilot Bearing Pulling Attachment it does not actually attach as the thread is too short) is a bit of a pain to attach to other OTC tools these are not in the box.

It is used to get into tight spaces where clearance is limited. One of those things you need only once in a blue moon, but when you find it you are glad you did.

This great little thing is light, small, and you are a technician, you should buy it! If you get stuck, you can sneak the fuel injector out in small spaces
