I've looked at all the "4-inch" pulls I have and the useful pull is only 2' 9" A ton is equivalent to 5 tons Comes to mind when "ton" comes to mind Prices are not even 100 dollars, and man, it looks like all these are being manufactured by the same factory in China and re-branded with the same branding Having a brand. They all seem identical. They all have the same lever, the same crappy handle, the same laminating gears, and the same As a result, this one is sort of the exception, and it's very likely to win. Despite the others' similarities, the handle is what makes it unique. In addition, the case comes fitted with a storage compartment, the gears are solid steel, and there is a Despite the reach, there is only one problem. We are dealing with a pathetic situation. As a result, I'm considering getting it regardless and attempting to resolve the reach problem in one or both of the following 1) Replace the steel cable with 3/16" Dyneema rope that has a breaking strength of at least 11,000 lbs on each lay. Thanks to Dyneema’s smaller size and ability to lay better in the spool I expect this to increase the reach to a minimum of five meters Adding feet to that. If you'd like, you can get pre-registered A Dyneema winch line already made the size you want with one eye already attached. To make the other eye, you first have to locate the right length and make it yourself. You'll also need a 3/16" fib, a pusher, and know exactly what you're doing (you can find YouTube videos). Also, it is important to re-read As you work the spool, make sure not to have any burrs, sharp edges, rough spots, etc. anywhere on it, including the cable attachment, the cable fairlead, and the hook pulley. 1) Set up your pulls so that you are attaching to and pulling a length of chain which can be locked so that you can allow for "sleep" There is a separate chain that locks the come-lock on parallel to the come-lock Towards the end of this line, there is a hook that can be grabbed. You can pull 5 feet, lock the pull chain with the lock chain, then spin the pull chain as many times as necessary. Your length can be determined by how much chain you set for the next 5 feet, etc. Your pull under load will be limited only by the amount of chain you decided to set. The result is this. This will simply mean that you have to reapply It is becoming more common for hooks to be hooked. Thanks. I hope it Do not cease to be afraid after doing something scary! Be careful and stay safe. I think so. My luck turned out to be in when another taco popped me.

In the first day of use, here are some preliminary findings failure occurs when something goes wrong. Thanks to my luck, neither of my hands nor fingers were broken. Using two eye holes, a parallel pull was rigged, with the loads being traded between the two so that the cable could be reeled in. There is some reason why this 4 ton cable winch exploded, but the trailer tie down strap (rated at 3333 pounds), (ie. Less than half the claimed load capacity of this product) on the other eye hole did not only hold, but it also caught the break.
The problem is. Apparently they took a 2 ton puller and sold it as a 4 ton puller by adding a bigger cable. There was no room for the cable to fit with the larger cable. About a foot was pulled as a result. The slack that you took up was gone by the time you picked it up. Replying to your email, I returned it.
Buying this cheaply made is a good deal, since you get what you pay for. Upon opening, I noticed that my release mechanism was missing a piece as well as the pulley hook does not rotate with cable as well as I think design friction must chew into it over time. I will update if these things change.
It was used to remove stumps from bushy areas. As soon as the unit puts force on the tow straps and begins to pull, there's no way to release the tension because the lever simply won't move. Worked fine when there was no tension, but as you can imagine, if you wanted to release it or slightly adjust the tension, you could not when there was tension. There are only 3 feet of cable to pull here, so it must be a short job. During the second and third portions of my project, it worked, but not for the final stump removal when three feet wasn't enough and I had to cut my towing strap. Eventually I plan to shop for a more expensive unit with a longer pull length and more convenient In addition to the unit, I also paid $197 for towing straps. The fact that I did it myself saved me money compared with hiring someone else to take them away.
This comes along This is a solidly built and heavy duty tool. My only surprise was that the travel is only 2' 9" from end to end given the large cable gauge This is not a flaw, and it is clearly listed in the product description (four feet eight inches long extended, one foot eleven inches long contracted), but it would have enhanced the reach a bit.

My fault for not reading The distance between the hook and the hook is 4 feet. Approximately 8 inches in diameter. It is fully extended and one foot wide. The diameter of the wheel is 11 inches. A full contract has been signed. It has a capacity of 4 tons (8,000 pounds) and safe working load of 2 tons (4,000 pounds). Therefore, it is a 2 ton (since most responsible companies consider engineering safety when rating their products), and the pull range is 2ft 9in-4". The cable assembly seems well constructed, but I may modify it so that the pully is not used, as this will double the pull range and halve.
When I tried a two ton that I bought at Lowe's, it broke after just ten minutes. It took me thirty minutes to get the four-ton pully out of the mud after I waited for it for thirty minutes. Plastic packaging. When I opened the box, there was a nice gift inside. With my chain, it was easy to use. If you use a rope, I would not recommend this pully, but if you use a chain, make sure it is strong because if it snaps, it will cause you to be sliced You do not want anyone near you when you are tightening the chain since that is pulling 8000 pounds or more. This is a great product for quads, tractors, small vehicles, light trucks, etc. Adding front end loader to Kubota 7800.
In order to move two 20' shipping containers with this device, I needed to raise them up (hydraulically) and put them on rollers made out of #10 cans filled with concrete. I then used this beast to pull the containers in the direction I wanted. Without it, we would not have been able to accomplish this.
