In order to turn the head bolt, what size socket should be used?

My memory is vague, but I returned it as it didn't meet my expectations

My jaw reach is only 2" with the 4" and I ordered the 4" It is exactly 9/16 inches. I ordered a replacement and it met my expectations. Do I have a misunderstanding of ?

It is stated in the listing that the 4" puller has a 2" shaft A 9/16" is actually a bit bigger than a 9/16". You may want to try a larger size if you need a longer reach

It's a no-brainer There was a 4 inch shaft, big enough to pull this fan off the motor (which was on an AC condenser). Initially, I thought the stick was stuck pretty bad, but (after I sprayed some oil in it and let it sit) it just came right off. You can find out what they do if you don't know what these things A wrench is all you need to turn the axle by putting the axles up against each other, moving the claws around the thing you wish to remove, and then turning the axle. The tool simply will not work in most cases, but in some cases, there is no other way. This is a tool most of us only need a few times in our lives, but it saved me from having to purchase a new fan blade - This is a saving of $70. It's heavy and feels sturdy, it screws smoothly, and the claws have just the right amount of friction to maneuver it easily. I like it a lot, it's heavy, it screws smoothly, and it feels sturdy. You've got some good stuff here.

While I liked the fact that it was long and sturdy, one thing that bothered me was that the jaws that grab aren't flat, they are inwardly formed, so it's hard to get them into objects that are horizontal

A great set of pullers! It was easy to remove the motor pulley that wasn't removable with pry bars after I got my Duratech 4pc gear puller set and put it to use right away

Initial inspection and use have left me very impressed with the quality, especially for the price. The kits appear to be very well made and have a good fit. But the real test will be when it comes time to remove the sock. Here's my response to a couple of complaints mentioned repeatedly in negative reviews posted on this site. In my job as an equipment mechanic, I have used quite a few expensive, USA-made pullers. By changing the arm configurations only with your fingers, you want to be able to change it quickly. The two wrenches would need to be used for removing Nylock nuts. Pullers are intended for use as intended, so the nuts should stay in place. Also, I have seen complaints that the fingers of the puller arms do not lay flat under gears, pulleys, etc. , and that they can damage bearing seals as a result. A few words about the angle of the fingers it is totally determined by the diameter of the part you are Seeing that the finger angle doesn't work, you can try using a smaller or larger puller. I can't understand why another complaint would be made about this tool. People have also complained that some of the fingers are too deep or thick to make it possible to make contact with other surfaces such as end bells or bearings. When removing a bearing, you may need to use a bearing separator/puller kit to preserve the bearing. It's because of this that most shops have a half dozen (or more) types and sizes to choose from. Nonetheless, I am very pleased with the kit so far.
