There is no skipping of sizes. An electric metric outlet and a set of screwdrivers were needed for general maintenance. In addition to being sturdy, these sockets will not need removal. No rounded corners, so nuts and bolts are not rounded off in this six-sided socket. I bought all this heavy duty tooling for about a dollar apiece. 36 each. What I bought this time is awesome and I'm pleased with it.

Whenever I throw something at them, they have handled it well. There will eventually be scratches due to the black coating, and to be sure of how well a good set of sockets performs, however as long as they hold true I don't care how they look.

I have been wanting a complete set of metric sockets for a long time. This is a set of thirteen quite common sizes. They do not generally have a depth of more than 3/8". Due to the Phosphate corrosion, they come with black Phosphate coatings. The coating is resistant to wear. The machine oil was still painted in a light coating before shipping so there was no reason for it to rust afterward. As a permanent storage case, the flimsy plastic one can no longer stand the test of time. Thus, a different method will need to be used to store them and organize them. Size markings do not appear stamped or embossed, they appear painted on. Considering that they wear off over time, I'm pretty sure they'll end up doing that. For me, these sockets worked well. An application I used called for 17mm sockets of the same material. It was put to use with my batteries. . . It was not a real stress test since the motor was not driven by a big impact, so holding the bolts securely was not really a problem. There is an excellent quality material to the sockets, and they appear well made. A more affordable sockets tend to weigh less and be more solid. In general, I would expect them to last a long time while moderately used. It is very affordable for 13 sockets to use this price point. You would have to agree that it is also an excellent value.

Whenever I think I have everything I need, an upcoming project reminds me that I don't have it all. I have plenty of sockets, but they are mainly deep. My only hope is that I can get out of the tight spaces to a good point. Basically, I needed a good collection of shallow sockets. We had a good package of these. During storage, they were fully wrapped in a layer of oil to protect them from harm. A thorough cleaning of that occurred. In a molded tray, the lid and part of the top remain loose. I want them to stay solid, but they're too weak under pressure to keep up with them. My m12 cordless ratchet works great with these tools. It's also nice when the numeric set is fully functional. It irritates me immensely when I find out that the set doesn't fit within the set. Measures clearly mark the size, and each has been etched as well. Overall, this is a great choice for adding sockets to your collection.
