Questions & Answers
Hello customer, our 100W solar panel is compatible with the Jackery Explorer 500. Thanks
Yes, it will charge when I place it on the dashboard of my car, but I'm only getting 20-minutes of use out of it. 30% of rated output was lost because it wasn't directly facing the sun and the windshield could cause efficiency loss.
Dear Customer, the controller is not required for our 100W flexible solar panel. The 100W solar panel is connected to the goal zero yeti 400 via an 8mm connector. Thanks
Dear Customer, Aeiusny 500W generator can be used with our 100W foldable solar panel.

I just purchased three more, bringing my total to four. I have four jackey explorer 240s that I use with them. When compared to the paxcess 50w, these panels provide literally twice the solar wattage, even on cloudy days. Alternatively, the jackey solar panel may be used. I've owned every single one of them. These panels are a great buy for someone who lives off the grid in a shuttle bus.
I connected them in series and used a Renogy 30 amp MPPT charge controller to control them. br>br>The best output I saw from the two panels was 186 watts (all numbers from the Renogy controller). During the peak of the sun, the output was usually around 170 watts /-. 5 watts. We got around 1. 25 during the three days we used the panels. Every day, 5 kWh are consumed. It was early April, and the temperature was 37°01'10. The latitude is 5"N. br>br>I propped up the panels with cheap aluminum music stands (2 per panel) and pointed them at the sun, rotating them every now and then to follow the sun's path throughout the day. br>br>The combined output of 186 watts (93 watts each) is impressive. For two nominally 100-year-olds, this is probably a little unusual. panels of wattage I'm guessing Rockpals uses their nominal capacity to calculate the advertised capacity. Indeed, another seller of what appear to be (almost) identical panels advertises its panels as being 120 watt. Original review: br>br> br>br>This panel is lightweight and portable. The fact that it folds in fourths rather than halves makes it much more convenient to transport. It's nice to see different DC barrel connector sizes included. br>br>40 at local noon on May 13th. According to the portable power bank it was charging, this panel emitted 73 watts at 29 degrees north latitude. The DC amps were found to be at a value of 5. 6 with the help of a clamp on the ammeter The voltage across the open circuit was 19V. I didn't have a convenient way to measure voltage under load (but if the watts reported by the power bank are to be believed, the voltage was around 13). (Note: The photo was taken in late afternoon on a previous day. )br>br>I used it to charge the 400 watt-hour battery. In the photo, you can see a one-hour power bank. The bank was charged between 2020% and 40% (the bank only 5 levels: 20, 20- 40, and so on) and achieved 100% charge in approximately 5 hours with charging beginning at 9: 45 a. m. DST. br>br>About the only drawback I've discovered thus far is the lack of any type of included or attached prop- The panels are placed at an angle with the help of a device.
I recently put the Rockpals 100 watt solar panel and the Jackery 60 watt solar panel to the test. I'm surprised, but the Rockpals don't live up to the hype. Only 33 to 34 watts are available to me! when the panel is exposed to direct sunlight NOT A GOOD THING (At least 60 minutes) 65 Watts) When a jackery 60 Watt panel is placed next to it, side by side, the Jackery 60 Watt panel receives 38-watts of power. 39 Watts! br>With a 40% smaller panel, I was able to get over 10% more watts. I would not recommend this product because it is not good. Today, I'm returning this. It's also a lot heavier than what they claim. 8 pounds, at the very least. Not bad, but the Jackery costs only three pounds and produces a lot more! (I'm not affiliated with Jackery; I'm just looking for the best deal on a panel. ).
100 watts is a lot of power, and as a solar contractor, I'm impressed. It comes with a lot of interchangeable plugs to plug into whatever equipment you might have. This thing is about the size of a small briefcase. It's extremely light, making it ideal for camping and disaster preparedness.
I've had it for about 5 months and it's still working great, despite the fact that it's winter. It comes with my Goal Zero Yeti 1000, which I use. It comes with an MC4 to 8mm connector, so it's ready to use right away. Unlike my other panels, this one is tough, portable, and efficient. The Goal Zero foldable 100W costs $500, but I was able to get it for $150 on a flash sale. I'm going to buy another one or two.
They're extremely well-made. I appreciate the high level of craftsmanship as well as the careful packaging. When I decide to take a week in the Jeep up into the mountains again, this will be a great addition to my trail gear. It's also useful around the house when I simply want to save energy. With these 100w folding moncrystalline panels and a RockPals 12v, 300w (600w peak) Power Control Unit, I can charge the Power Control Unit in just a few hours. I now own three of those Power Units, which I use for various tasks around the house or while camping. Tip: In the evenings, unplug the space heater and replace it with a low-wattage bulb. Convert a watt electric mattress heater to solar power to save $100s on your next trip through the winter months by not having to heat your entire home. Once I'm in bed, I do this and stay toasty warm all night. There are a plethora of options for powering small appliances or, if you have a battery bank, almost anything! Purchase with confidence because you will be pleased with the RockPals product line and customer service.
