Questions & Answers
This is designed to work with a variety of power station brands, including Rockpals, Jackery, and Goal Zero. The controller is already built into these power stations. If you wanted to use this panel for something else, you could do so. You'll need to modify the plug, but any solar controller rated at 100 watts will suffice.
Yes, and with two panels charging at the same time for lightning-fast charging!
I've been buying from Rockpals for a few years; they were one of the first companies to sell power supplies on Amazon. If you contact their after-sales department, you should be fine. They will solve the problem for you if you contact sales service in a timely manner and explain the problem to them.
I have two of them and have used them on stands as well as laying flat.

I just used the included parallel cable to connect the two new model 100W rockpals with built-in stands solar panels. They are pulling 135 watts in the morning full sun and they are very good compared to the Jackery 100 watt which pull a little more watts per YouTube per reviews but the Jackerys are not water resistant, whereas Rockpals are! I will update this review if I have any problems with Rockpals, as they fold up very small and are very easy to store and transport. My initial assessment and gut feeling is that they are a good buy.
UPDATE REVUEbr>br>I keep getting emails from this company requesting that I take down this revue in exchange for a $20 amazon gift card. ABSOLUTELY NOT! This panel was only functional for a short period of time before it died. You should either refund the full amount or send a replacement or a different product. br>br>I will not purchase anything from this company again. br>br>** Original revue*
I bought this for a two-month road trip and it was completely useless. The Anderson cable does not charge the Rockpals solar generator, but it does charge a phone via USB. I have two generators, neither of which is capable of charging. Because I have a roof-mounted renogy solar panel that keeps the batteries charged, the generators can be charged. br>br>I'm extremely dissatisfied. What a colossal squandering of resources.
Since mid-December 2020, Rockpals RP082 100 watt Foldable Solar Panels have been used on a daily basis.
The weather has been pretty good here in South Florida and I can average a 50% to 60% Solar Recharge per day of the Rockpals 300 watt Solar Generator. br>br>The panels appear to be sturdy and well-made, and the foldable design makes transportation and storage a breeze. The Solar Generator receives between 37 and 40 watts of power from the winter sun. br>I took 23 measurements at Anderson Connectors. 5 volts and 4 volts 37 amps indicates a 102 watt output. 69 watts. br>This is enough to charge my laptop, tablet, phone, Bluetooth speaker, and a LED light that uses about 8 watts per hour for 7 hours every day. br>br>In order to track the sun throughout the day, I built an adjustable, wheeled aluminum rack on which to mount the solar panels. br>I agree with the other commenter that the solar panels would be more stable if there was a third foldable leg. Overall, the Rockpals 100 watt Foldable Solar Panels perform admirably, are easy to transport and store, are durable, well-made, and offer good value.
I looked at all of the other panels for information and decided on the rockpals version with kickstands because: 1) adaptability – 2) waterproof - it folds down to the size of a small briefcase. This is important to me because many others aren't. 3) Durability - When you get it, you'll notice that it's of excellent quality. 4) price - It's less expensive than some of the alternatives. 5) Did you know that some others require full sun to charge and will not function if any portion of the sun is blocked? OVERALL: This solar panel is well-made and reasonably priced. It is possible to connect two of them together, and it will work with any solar generator. I already had my jackery, and I'm thinking about using Rockpals for the generator as well. Very nice panels; read all of the available reviews and watch the videos; you'll make the same decision I did.
My battery is now bricked. I basically paid $200 for a $300 battery to be destroyed. My battery, which was the same brand, had been working perfectly for months with no problems. I was excited to get a solar panel for emergency use, but it immediately destroyed the battery. It did this after I charged it according to the instructions. Choose a different brand; I will never purchase anything from this company again.
I tried it out with a Massimo 50l refrigerator, and it seemed to work fine while using the Rockpals 250 power generator's pass through dc charging feature. I appear to have sufficient power to run the refrigerator and maintain the battery's charge. After running the fridge all night, the battery is usually around 50% in the morning of the morning of the morning of the morning of the morning of the morning of the This 100w panel comes highly recommended!.
I purchased both the Paxcess and the Rockpal with the intention of pitting them against the Rockpal 300. Both units were discharged and connected to the panels at about the same time. The Paxcess has 66 members. The Rockpal is a steady 47 watts at 69 watts. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative The photos were taken at 512 p. m. to show how well the Paxcess performs in late sunlight, while the Rockpal continues to be a poor performer. br>br>I've been using the Paxcess for a week, and the temperature is consistently in the high 60s and low 70s. I'll let the data speak for itself. These are the upgraded Rockpals, and they're supposed to be the best?br>br>I'll let the data speak for itself. I can't seem to get Amazon to let me post pictures! I emailed Rockpal to see if 45 watts was their standard. They stated that they couldn't answer the question without seeing a video and knowing my order number.
It's waterproof, but don't submerge it in water. It is compact and lightweight for a 100 Watt panel, with a stand in the back to hold it at a proper sun angle. The solar generator received a quick charge. It's convenient to have multiple connectors on the output end to connect to your solar generator, but not all of them will fit, as my Suaoki did. As others have mentioned, there are no MC4 connectors, so you'll need adaptors for your solar generators, as the Rockals have Anderson connectors. It'll be interesting to see how well the Oxford cloth holds up in the field over time.
