While testing the negative cable prior to installation (using pliers and my hand) I am able to pull a ring terminal from There is clearly a problem with the crimping of the ring terminals. A portion of the cable insulation was also removed. Wire with old terminals can usually be salvaged by installing new ones, but I don't believe the insulation is adequate to enable I to run an inverter of 1000W. In the trash will go both cables.

Making cable look the way it does in the pictures doesn't meet quality control requirements

While the cables function, it is commonly known that the cables for solar battery banks must be identical in size and length no matter what. This is why I get different sizes of the cable. Where are the quality control checks? If I had to ship it back, I would have been waiting for some days to get it back, which would have caused my tiny solar project to get delayed even more, since using a cable like this, in the long run, would have affected the battery bank's balance.
