The ends are not heat-sealed as expected for the price

I had to substitute a 1/4" lug for one of the lugs to fit my 3G alternator, but I discovered that the ends were not heat-sealed as expected for the price. As with other cables I got previously in a larger size (2 Ga) from another vendor, this cable also shrank with an adhesive lining. For a short length of this length, I would expect it to cost closer to $9-$10 Rather than the $12+ I paid, the cable I received was only worth $10. It is NOT weather and corrosion resistant as it is Honestly, I would have given this a If I could, I would give it 5 stars because of the cost, making it not a great My next time I should probably buy just the wire and use my lugs instead of buying the cabling from the store.

A factory alternator to battery cable on my VW Jetta TDI MK4 was in need of replacement, so I purchased the item. As a result of the corroded original cable at the fuse box, the fuse box produced excessive heat. That would cause the fuse box to melt and cut the power to the car. The installation of the program was When I took out the factory wire loom, I just cut it in half. After that, we recovered everything using a new split loom. The only thing I wish I had done differently was getting the 5 foot cable with 1/4" and 5/16" There is a 5/16 x 8 end on the alternator. It is much easier to operate the fuse panel with a 1/4’ In the fuse panel, however, a 5/16 inch will work. To fit, it will need a little trimming with snips.

A nice thick wire, fully insulated, and a good thickness of ring connector are features of the 4G wire. It was my fault for getting the wrong connector, because the 3/8s connector is too big. However, the ground wire is good and true to size.
