My John Deere mower's positive cable had failed, and just replacing it would cost me $40. I saw these cables, and you get both positive and negative for a lot less money, plus they're a lot more durable. As you can see in the photo, the cable performs admirably. Sure, it's a little longer than the original, but that's not a problem. Overall, the cables are of excellent quality.
In the back of my Jeep, I'm putting together a galley with a 12v to 120v inverter and a 12v refrigerator/freezer. I snipped one end of the cables and installed a Quick Connect so I could easily remove the galley and disconnect the 12v power from my dual battery system. under the hood is a good place to start. The pre- The wire was simple to cut and crimp with a hydraulic wire crimper, and the installed fittings were excellent!.
