I like the larger plier, and I like the reaming head and knockout handles. They keep things running smoothly for ladder-based businesses. work. I was hoping that the smaller set would suffice for going around lock-ins. Because the larger pliers' large heads can make them a little unwieldy, I put nuts on the inside of four square boxes, but when they arrived, I quickly realized the smaller pliers are so small they're practically useless for anything I'd need them for.
The third set is preferable to channel lock.
I like.
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I'm a journeyman plumber who has used channel locks for years, but these Milwaukee pliers, especially the large one, have become my go-to pliers since I got my hands on them. It has more grip than channel locks in my opinion. Because the Jaws on the smaller one are thicker than those on the baby channel locks (410), they can be a tight fit at times. As a result, I still prefer to use my baby locks, but the larger Milwaukee plier is, in my opinion, superior to channel locks.
When I was working as a Petroleum Technician, I bought a pair of these and they lasted for over two years, despite everything I could throw at them. I never used the pliers' reaming ends, but the handles were grippy enough when I was covered in grease and grime, the pair I bought had plenty of bite, and they were holding up well enough that they were stolen from my toolbag after two years. br>br>Once left outside for a week, the surface rusted to hell and back, but it was easily removed with a little oil and steel wool, but I dismissed it as useless. I came here to buy another set, and I'm hoping they're as good as the one I had previously.
This is a disaster. It's extremely difficult to adjust, and the feel and grip are both extremely sloppy. They slip and damage every fitting I've tried to hold, in my experience. Any other brand will suffice; however, the angle on the back of the handle pinches you and makes applying any force difficult. br>br>In general, it's a complete waste of $35. They have yet to do anything for me other than waste time and finish a few air hoses.
These are sloppy to the point of being embarrassing. They have a lot of movement in them, and the handles are intertwined. Grip is a pain, and when it's cast, it's easy to break.
