Since I have worked around aircraft for more than 30 years, I have used a variety of wood and plastic chocks, and this ribbed rubber style has never failed to hold. As I already have a pair wider for my cargo trailer, I thought these smaller ones would be ideal for chocking a sidecar or motorcycle in my A really good size for cars and trucks, too, much more secure than a 2x4. I have one without transmission fail to set the parking brake and it will easily roll into things that are expensive.

The shoes are nice. They don't feel heavy at all. I must admit that I have to laugh sometimes when one star reviews appear. The ones that describe them as being too short particularly bother me.
