There is no TJ 97-compatible set for this one At this time, we do not offer the JL with this option

Would you please tell me if that's a metal backplate ?

There is a rubber gasket type liner between the hood hinge and the bracket. In order to remove the hinge bolts, I had to be careful. Test the fit with the jack on the brackets as well. To flip my own, I had to reverse the order. In one direction, one faces the center of the Jeep, in the other direction I need to adjust the height of my hi lift jack.

What is the price per pair?

I'm here. It comes with two brackets, two knobs, as well as hardware to mount on both sides of the vehicle so the jack can be mounted across the hood and supported from both sides. A good product, but I noticed it is designed in such a way that you can't open the Jeep hood all the way against the windshield without denting the metal behind it.

This isn't my favorite because they have to set at an angle and I do not like how it looks. The way it sets on the JK is better than the way it sets on the MK. I guess I am just adding to the junk pile yet again.

We followed the well written instructions by mounting the hood on the outer screws however, we couldn't fix the hi-vis hood catch There would be a mismatch between the jack holes. Originally, I was disappointed, but I moved one part to the inner screw and it fits perfectly. I took the instructions for a short time as they misled me. However, now it fits my 2001 Jeep Wrangler perfectly.
