Questions & Answers

I see that the skids are 17 inches long, but how big is the overall lifting area and how wide are the skids?

Hello Daniel, The lifting area is the same size as the skids, which are 14 inches long. 5" x 17. I have a Harley Ultra Limited and it handles it perfectly; hopefully this information is useful. Whit

I have a 2014 Road King, do I need any additional parts to lift it?

That's the same bike I have, and the jack works flawlessly; no additional tools were required.

Is this something that can be used for a variety of things? used to lift lawnmowers, ATVs, and other vehicles so you can work underneath them? Perhaps if I made a custom piece of jewelry?

It's a lift for all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). I suppose you could lift a riding mower if you were careful. It will be difficult to work beneath the surface. The lifts are quite close together, and there isn't much space. It's ideal for riding bicycles.

I have an Indian Scout from the year 2020 (abstract). Is this something you can do?

The Scout has a ground clearance of five inches, so it should be fine. The motorcycle lift has a low height of 3", while the car lift has a height of 1". You must ensure that the lift is aligned with the motorcycle's frame and not against any accessories, as this could result in damage.

It's wonderful to lift! This lift is perfect for my 2020 Indian Scout! As others have pointed out, there are no assembly instructions
5/5

Use your imagination and the exploded parts illustration to create something new - To put it together, it took me about 20 minutes and one wrench. Others have mentioned that when lowering, it requires a light touch (and for me, a hand on the handle bar). Biker, on the other hand, understands how to change their foot pressure - With our brakes, we do it all the time! br>br>The package was in perfect condition when it arrived. It's a two-person job because it's quite heavy and large, but all of the parts were included and fit perfectly. There are no issues in this area. (Oh, and I got it right away - thanks!) On Monday, I placed an order, and on Saturday, I received it! There are no issues! )br>br>I've already had my Scout up on the lift a few times (washing, fluid checks, and so on. ) ) and she takes a firm seat on it. While on the lift, I even got on my bike and started her up. Maintain your composure! I've moved her around after she's been lifted, and everything appears to be in good working order. br>br>I was planning on getting a J. S lift. They're not cheap, but they have a good reputation. J, on the other hand, is dealing with Covid and shut downs. S was no longer a part of the equation. For about a year and a half, This lift is a godsend for a third of the price. It's sturdy, it fits, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Now, if only it could last a little longer!.

Hello, I'd like to return this jack for a full refund because it is defective
3/5

I was unable to assemble this motorcycle/ATV floor jack until just over a month ago (February 2021). This was due to personal and health reasons. I was able to lift the motorcycle and then lower it to the lock position the first time I used it. Then, because the jack would not raise from the locked/Stop position, I had to lift the front end of the motorcycle with another jack high enough to lift it off your jack. The jack raises when I pump it, but it immediately lowers when I stop, which is why it was moved to the lock/stop position. I contacted the manufacturer, who informed me that a few years ago, they had a defective pump, and that this could be one of those jacks/pump. They don't expect a replacement pump until September 2021, but due to COVID backorders, this could take longer. As a result, I'd like to return this item for a complete refund.

It's Well Worth the Money - Superior in every way
5/5

The phrase "Brick Sht-" comes to mind. a "house" with a lift! This is a rock-solid piece of equipment! br>When I got the boxed lift, I had a hard time getting it into the house. It has a lot of weight to it! br>I put this together inside the house because it was about 95 degrees outside, but that's beside the point. br>It was easy to put together. Install the jack and foot lever (total of three bolts), then the support bar (cotter pins), and finally the handle support (two more bolts). Those who said the directionsbr>weren't up to par perplexed me because I never even looked at them. (And, after all, aren't you getting this lift so you can work on your motorcycle? ) You should be quite capable right away. anyway. br>br>This thing is built like a tank, and I love the long pads that support the bike. (Approx. My HF lift is 6" longer than this one. )br>It glides easily across the garage floor, which is a little rough, and sits low, giving me plenty of ground clearance to get under the bike, as well as lifting the bike close to 17" off the ground, making it easier to change fluids and/or work on the bike. br>Did I mention it was sturdy? The supports or support beams were not swaying or fleeing in any way. This is a rock-solid piece of equipment. Finally, you won't be able to complain about the price on this one; It's half the price of the two most popular lifts on the market, but it's perfect for my bagger in my opinion - a special edition Road Glide from 2015. This item has exceeded my expectations!.

Lift for motorcycles
3/5

There were no issues with lifting or stability, and all of the parts arrived in good condition. Some assembly was required, but it was simple to put together. HOWEVER! This Chinese hydraulic jack has almost no control over the rate of descent due to the foot pedal design and valve type used. Because of the lack of control, the movement is shaky and jerky. I contacted tech support, who stated that they had never heard of this problem before and offered to replace it; however, at 95 pounds, I decided to keep it and repair it myself. I created a hand-operated hand screw that gradually lowers the load by applying gentle and controlled pressure to the foot pedal. IT IS NOW RUNNING SLOWLY! After the fact, I read all 68 reviews and discovered 5 that warned of a rapid drop. Be wary of the buyer!.

The most effective motorcycle lift on the market! With this lift, you simply CANNOT GO WRONG! Without a doubt, the best value for money
5/5

The back wheels are locked. Two pins are screwed down to further restrict movement. The controls are easy to use. It's a cinch to put together! You'd be a fool to buy anything even remotely comparable if you didn't have a locking bar to prevent a hydraulic leak or dump from inadvertently lowering your bike. Unless you want to go all out in your garage and install a full-fledged shop lift. This is the right path to take. It's well-made and sturdy.

For me, it was successful
4/5

I was fortunate in that one of the wheels' bearings was nearing the end of its life cycle. One of the handle screws had come loose. Prior to tightening, make sure that everything is in good working order. Welds aren't great, but they shouldn't be a problem. The steel is of sufficient size to support an 800-pound Harley Electra Glide. The bike remained upright for several days as a result of it. Except for the handle, which I don't use, I've used it a few times and it appears to work fine. br>br>The price was reasonable, and I was one of the fortunate few who received it.

According to some reviews, the assembly instructions were not up to par
5/5

This is entirely accurate. I received the Jack in perfect condition, with all of the packaging intact. According to some reviews, the assembly instructions were not up to par. This is correct; there are no instructions for assembly. As a result, there are a total of four pieces to put together. The foot pump lever and handle, as well as the pump jack to the base and the jack safety lock. All you'll need is a 9/16" wrench and a pair of pliers. To be honest, if you can't put it together, you shouldn't be using it. This is a good product for the money, and the 3 1/2" ground height is exactly what I was looking for. This jack works just as well for my Streetglide as it does for my wife's HD Fatboy, and it appears to be foreign made, but the construction appears to be adequate for what I require. I would suggest it.
