You have to consider a lot of factors and find out what you are going to use the device My water-based finishes don't seem to harm these tips at all when I use them for woodworking projects. Over a year ago I purchased the first box, and I bought a second box just recently. they are cleaned, they'll last for a very long time. All that being said, I think 3m allows them to be used for about 8 times, but I am not sure if they mean 8 panels or 8 cars. As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't trade my Accuspray

The spray gun is by far the best spray gun on the market for any coating that you intend on spraying. Besides using it for latex paint, I have sprayed a range of other products, such as automotive basecoat and clear coat. The tips can be swapped out and you are ready to The spray is as good as high-end Binks guns, but this one cleans up faster and has a longer range. I recommend you check out the clean up for this gun on their website if you have not yet made a determination about the gun.
This system is great. The process is super easy, but don't forget to throw out the spray cans when they no longer spray. It's not a good idea to keep using them like I did because then the paint job gets ruined.
3M tips of the first generation. It works well and does what it's supposed to do. It is important to make sure you have the correct cups. The guns will fit either the 1st or 2nd gen, but not the cups. I prefer the 1st gen over the 2nd gen so far. The only way to know is through time.
The 3M products I own are all of good quality. The design is both functional and well thought out. Not only the accuspray system, but many others as well Their products can be purchased for a cheaper price if you save time, materials, and money. With the price of cleaning thinners and everything else, the cost will be more expensive in the long run. I mean, going through waste can be a pain, but it's better than poisoning the air with waste thinners.
This product is very nice.
This is an amazing way for a spray gun to be able to throw away the tip and not have to clean it.
I found the value to be excellent as advertised.
