With one day prime shipping for just $19, this is a great deal. You sure got a good deal there. I just needed a cheap grease gun to keep on my boat for lubricating the jet pump after every use, and this grease gun exceeded my expectations in every way. My first impression was that the gripper sleeve would be cheap and stupid, but seeing it in person it turned out to be quite nice. All the threaded fittings were fine, and I installed the rubber Before I put the cylinder back on with the new grease, I went through the process of replacing the ring inside the head. I think the adjustable jaws on the zerks fitting are really cool, it will no longer be a concern with the hose popping off or grease seeping out. I was hit with an incredible deal on a product that was described very well, with detailed instructions, and shipped in one day to my door.
The end attachments are terrible. A small amount of grease leaches out at the end, but does not release. It came apart as soon as I unscrewed it. The parts could not be reassembled. In order to assemble the parts, they need to attach them with a jig. Using the extra end, I knew I didn't need to completely remove the screw. As a matter of course, every zerk had to be unscrewed. The gun I'm using is really cool. This is a solid roller, nice paintwork, clean inside, no rust or flaking, but you do have to use your own wing I've gone back and given 5 stars instead of the 4 I gave. I love how inexpensive this is, and it even has an air release valve (button) on top.
I used to use the grease gun before I broke my hand, so I did not I think this is an excellent idea. Luckily, the refueling place is equipped with a protective device, so it won't be easy to get.
All you have to do is make sure the screws are tight and the tool will work. An attachment head that does not leak and has a snug fit. In the bottom spring arm, tension tends to be lost over time, so it needs to be re-tightened A certain amount of engagement is useful No big deal, but that's not the point. It is as simple as pulling in the small lever and you can pump You will find that it is very helpful.
It is well made and since there are so many extensions it appeals to me. A lot of people do this to grease the fittings on their lawn tractors. This is the first time I've used one. It was a little confusing to follow the instructions in the box, as they were There was also a mention of "details available on the website," but no URL was provided. We are all blessed with search engines, so I was able to find the information I needed online.
It was also pretty difficult to remove the coupling tip after I greased the first few grease fittings. This information would have been helpful to know. I expected it to come off the fitting as easily as it came on. Because I didn't know what to do, and didn't want to break anything, I didn't do I got a tip from the nearby mower shop as well If you pump grease too much, it can make a mess. You just need to pump a few times. So glad I knew that before I started!.
Recently purchased a riding mower that comes with grease fittings for lubrication. Never had a need for one before. When I got it ready for use, I pulled the plunger back until it locked in place and opened up the top, put in a freshly opened grease cartridge, put the top back on the plunger and released it until it rest against the back of the grease cartridge. Then I pumped the gun a few times until grease came out to ensure the pump operated as it should. The process seemed to work perfectly, based on my experience. The issue that some people seem to be confused about is whether or not the plunger should be pushed all the way in once the grease cartridge has been installed. What function is provided by the plunger if it is pushed all the way in right at the beginning? It doesn't make sense that a full cartridge of grease should just drive the plunger all the way in, since the grease has to go around the plunger end as it moves around, which is impossible. This is why I'm letting the spring loaded plunger move in automatically as the grease is used up since I believe that is how it's supposed to work. In any case, it works great for me and seems to be well built and will last me a long time.
It is freakin' awesome when these two come together. Gets rid of all the dread of "I don't want to fight zerks. ". My new grease gun is much easier to load grease tubes into than my previous one, and it works well.
encountered this problem with the tool I used a long time ago, and if anything I would have expected that technology would have improved since then.
