Because he's a logger, he's always greasing equipment, so I figured it was past time for him to upgrade from his hand pump grease gun to this. This grease gun is a beast, pushing Lucas heavy duty grease through any sent on our equipment with ease. It's a nice feature to have because it's light, easy to load, and durable. Exactly as described, prompt delivery, and excellent performance. I also went with the grease head that clips on, which makes doing drivelines and loader arms a breeze. At our shop, we used Lincoln and Milwaukee grease guns, but I am very pleased with this grease gun and give it my recommendation. The battery life is excellent, and there have been no issues. This is something I would recommend to anyone who owns construction equipment, heavy duty trucks, or trailers.
Until it's time to replace the cartridge, I really enjoy this item. I despise it then. The spring does not neatly compress; instead, it hangs over the edge, making threading the cap on impossible. I have to keep the spring extended while inserting the plunger into the new cartridge and fighting the cap down until it reaches the threads. By that time, my hands are usually greasy enough that gripping the cap tightly enough to screw it on is a real challenge. I'll be back to loving it once I've done that. Two stars should probably be deducted, but everything else about it is fantastic.
user with a business. Every 8 to 10 hours of use, I use this electric grease gun to service the 21 Zerk fittings on my Bobcat S650 skid loader. For speed and ease of use, my heavy equipment mechanic suggested using an electric grease gun instead of a manual grease gun. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. When I grease the machine, it makes quick work of the numerous Zerk fittings; my use is residential/personal, not commercial, but I believe the purchase price was justified for a residential user. I did find out that the LockNLube coupler I bought wouldn't work with all of the Zerk fittings, so I returned it to Amazon. The coupler was just long enough and stiff enough that it couldn't be used on a few of the 21 Zerk fittings. It'd be impossible to make it work.
