Multiple EV's are in my possession, which is why I wanted to purchase a charger that would be adaptable across makes and models. Based on research I did, and a Forbes article I had read, I decided to give the Pulsar Plus Wallbox a shot. There was a small package containing a clear instruction manual with the Pulsar Plus. It was nice to discover that it was pre-assembled and only a small number of parts was required In my situation, I decided to use an existing 240v outlet, which made the installation process very simple. It was simply a matter of mounting the mounting bracket to the wall, attaching the Pulsar Plus to the bracket, and installing the charging cable holder. surprised at how quickly it went up after reading the instructions. After it was on the wall, it probably took about 15 minutes. Having done that, I plugged it into my Tesla and it started charging sooner rather than later. I was able to charge my Model 3 by plugging it directly into a standard 12amp outlet, and I was getting an abysmal 3mph charge speed. As soon as I installed the Pulsar Plus, my charging rate increased from 8 mph to 35 mph, which is more than 10 times what I was getting before. My garage is also a nice addition to my house with the Pulsar Plus due to its compact form factor. Next, we connected the Pulsar Plus app to the device. The setup was fairly straightforward, as I had to register an account, enter the serial number, and connect to my wifi network. I think it took about five minutes for everything to be My favorite part of the app is being able to plug in my local electric costs and see how much it costs to charge my vehicle on a monthly basis. I also love how it's intuitive and simple to use. This is an excellent device and I highly recommend it. I installed the app in a flash and it's easy to use, but it also provides a lot of informative statistics about usage.
A NEMA 14-approved water heater is a must "Down" mounted 50 with the ground in front of it. It is most common for electricians to install the charger with the ground up due to safety reasons. This charger, however, requires the ground down for its proper operation. In this case, I did not need to call an electrician to rotate the plug As a result, I was not bothered by this. It took about 10 minutes to install the software I found the process pretty straight forward and In the longest and most difficult part, I had to get the app to connect to my I tried several times before I was successful. The connection remains intermittent once it has been established Even though I have a connection to my WiFi router, I occasionally receive a "Not Available" message on the app. My 2021 Mustang Mach 1 was charged for the first time using this device It works great and it is easy to use I had no issues with it at all. This gave me a charge rate of 40 Amps, so I can get my phone charged faster. When I went to check the stats for the charge the following morning, no record of it was found. In addition, it reported an operating time of 336,275 hours and 54 minutes (38 years) One day has passed since I have had both the car and charger. As long as the bugs are worked out, I am sure this will be much more enjoyable. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars right now With a price tag of over $600, that's kind of a bummer.
I had been researching level 2 chargers for the home and found the Pulsar, which had just been on sale just a few months before. There was a lot of cool features and it was so cheap that other chargers either don't have them or charge much more and don't work as well as this did. I used the bluetooth connection as I had not yet configured the wifi at the house and did not have an electrician install the system for me, but he quickly installed it and I was immediately able to use it. Charges were easily tracked and I was able to see the statistics with Bluetooth. There was even WiFi to make the experience even It is possible to lock the charger from the phone app and see every charge you have made. You can even choose to do so. Getting people to use your charger for free and listing it as a public charger will make you money. Even with the lights off, it looks sleek and chic. It glows nicely in the dark as well. It has been a great purchase so far.
When I first installed the ChargePoint unit, it was already set to 16 amps, as it came from the factory. I had to program it a few times before it would convert to 50 amps, but my new Mustang Mach I is finally capable Charge was only taking place at a speed of 14 miles per In the end, I decided to try the Wallbox and found it to be a much better product. In addition, it is easy to install without the help of Even without opening up the housing (as I had to with the ChargePoint), I could use the unit without any problems. It was installed on the wall within five minutes Taking the charger apart took more time than I thought because I had to open the housing for the second time. I clicked on the 2D barcode after installing the unit, and the unit registered to my location almost instantly. Then I connected it to my car and it began to charge at 40 amps, or about 29 miles per My unit looks great on my wall and the app is extremely easy to use.
