It was necessary for me to fast charge my electric vehicle with this charger. The fact that my next car will also be an EV made me decide to invest in a quicker charger setup, since I was tired of waiting for a charge for hours. Due to the fact that I had to pay an electrician to install the plug, I was looking for a good value in a It seemed fair to take a chance on the EVgear price and what was said about their other chargers. Since they are based in the USA and have a good warranty, I went with them. This charger does a really good job and is of high quality. I like the design of the box, it looks kind of elegant. A clean environment. This product was easy to install and came with all the screws and anchors necessary for the job. My goal was to find a charging device that is easy and simple Because I have an App for my car that monitors everything, I didn't want to pay for WIFI or a digital display to tell me what the charging rate was or how long it would take to charge the App does it all for me. Although it is installed in the garage, because the cable is so long, my car could be charged if I parked it in the driveway, which does happen sometimes. Plus there's a cable handle holder to make things easy. I am so happy that my car charges in just 2 hours! It used to take 13 hours. . . now it takes 5.

What the heck I was thinking without it for all these years! Using the 120-volt charger that came with my 2013 Chevy Volt, it took between 10 and It now takes 2 hours. I have had this device for more than two months and I have had no problems with it. I can set it up to charge in the middle of the night so it will charge my car from zero to full (100 miles) in about three hours using the app that comes with it. I was able to attach it to my wall without any trouble. This is something I The Ford Focus electric that I drive has a hybrid powertrain.

The tissue paper hole that was included in the kit was a very classy touch- This template is for drilling holes. The light on the front is intuitive and the unit was easy to install. It looks good and charges quickly and easily. It's a well-made charger and I like it. I have been using it with my 2017 Chevy Bolt, and it seems to be working fine.

There was a claim in the description that it would be x6 faster, but it was actually Compared to a regular charger, it works 5 times faster.
