This device is a waste of time. On a similar Chinese-made 50CC motorcycle, I went through three of them before the flywheel stopped moving.

but damn. This was a fantastic idea. For over 30 years, I've worked as a motorcycle and dirt bike mechanic. Things will break if you don't have the proper tools for the job. When it comes to older models, these are very costly. This flywheel puller was purchased to replace a stator on an older 1994 Honda CR125R. The bike I have had some rust issues, particularly in the area of the flywheel, and it had also been sitting in the garage for 26 years. The puller worked as advertised, and I was able to remove the flywheel in under a minute, whereas if I had gone another route, I would have damaged the engine. Now I have a flywheel puller to use on the other Hondas I work on, as well as a variety of other makes and models. Finally, the puller is well-made and heavy-duty, making it an excellent addition to my toolbox.

The appropriate tool for the task at hand

If you know how to use it, it is the most effective tool for the job. If you use brute force, the threads on the tool and the stator will be stripped out. Tighten until a snug fit is achieved. Then, using light taps and tightening until the stator comes loose, repeat the process. It will strip in less than ten seconds if you tighten without tapping. Best wishes to you.
