Materior: All components are made of CNC steel and are black-coated on the surface to provide excellent rust and corrosion resistance. They are also extremely solid and long-lasting.
Work on trucks powered by the Duramax 4500 and 5500 engines. Remove the rubber inspection cap from the transmission's bottom. To engage the flywheel, place the tool in the front of the opening and hand tighten the bolt to keep it in place.
Use a 3/4" square drive wrench and a forged 36mm socket on the balancer bolt to lock the flywheel at the transmission instead of removing the starter for water pump replacement.
