I am not sure if the manufacturer offers a warranty as mine also broke. Sadly, this is a poorly made product.

In the past, I've experimented with manual expanders on exhaust pipes, but they never worked In the past, I have broken several that I have rented from auto parts shops. A hydraulic expander must be used to flare steel pipe cold. In any case, I used this expander on PVC pipe to make bellmouths on It was the smallest in the set that broke. As soon as the seller received our request, a replacement was sent for free. If you use an impact on them, they will break immediately, so oil them up a lot, go slow, and don't use an impact. Despite the fact that they take a long time to work on small parts, they do it reasonably well.
For my gas water pump, I used these to stretch my layflat discharge hose. My stepfather was determined to try this hose, even thought the hose was just a little smaller than the fittings. It was a flawless job that they did. The hose only needed maybe an eighth of an inch more in diameter for it to fit over the fitting's, so we used a heat gun to get it warmed up a little before sticking one of these in the hose so it would stretch a little. As soon as the hose warmed up again ( I guess it was 35 degrees outside at the time) we turned the end of the expander to let it enlarge the hose about a turn I simply plugged in the fittings and had one entire hose completed in about 5 minutes!.
Repair work can be done with this product. This is noteworthy Be aware that this plug must be fully inserted, otherwise it will attenuate sound (a strong clamp can be used to cover the exposed portion in a short-penetration case like a muffler). There was also a complaint of damage from someone else. The plastic envelope that came with my order was torn on one of its corners and the red box was dented. So, I have decided I did not buy it to have a pretty box and it still works. *much faster than I anticipated (shipped out of adjacent Washington State).
After it broke before I had the chance to finish using it one time, I had to cut the shaft's threads in half with a die grinder in order to remove it.
I hate it! The effect seems to work on thin materials. Still, it isn't all good. A new stainless nut fixed all the threads that were stripped out (bigger, better This caused it to break. Expands against the tubing and forces it against the wall. A portion of it actually snapped Once, twice, and even three times!.
Not the greatest but during a rush I can use them.
The expander just broke, and the nut on the threaded shaft crumbled. A segment of my replacement cracked in half when I replaced it a second time. All I had to do was that.
It worked perfectly, had read the reviews and noticed there had been problems, so was very careful and lubricated everything, threads, etc. Expansion metal is made of cheap cast and simply bent, then broke, instead of expanding pipe. Do not waste time or money, useless device. You might be able to use soft copper to expand!.
