Straightening clamp dents is not likely to stretch pipe for slip joints, but may be able to straighten clamp dents. While I knew it wasn't supposed to be used for that, I decided to try it since it was so inexpensive. There was a crack in two of the expanding pieces around the turning point. It is impossible to imagine that it could remove dents and the like, but it could possibly do so.

A load proved too much for the item and it The very first time I attempted to use it, the head broke in half at the contact point when it broke

This metal will handle the load if you find an item that is similar and black in color. I got one from an auto parts store. If the silver color indicates cheap materials, they are not rated to handle the load of the job for which they were designed.

I received this tool with some threads that were messed up. This still makes it somewhat difficult for the tool to be used However, it does work and the rubber bands appear to be strong and flexible. My overall recommendation is to pick any of the options, and I doubt all will mess up their.

The replacement of this part is easy

Several rubber bands broke after being used a few times. I think they should last a little longer, but they are easy to replace. It seems to be lasting a long time, other than the bands, considering that tail pipe expanders don't normally last more than a few months.
