Product Description

We use this tailpipe extender for repairs and installation of exhaust systems, because it is drop forged and heat treated to ensure high strength and toughness.

You simply pick out the correct size pipe expander for your pipe and insert it in the damaged end. You then turn the expanding bar until the dents have disappeared.

There are 3 different sizes of exhaust pipe expanders, so it's almost suitable for all kinds of pipes. It guarantees the perfect fit

The Small Expander measures 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" in size, the Medium Expander measures 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" and the Large Expander measures 2-1/8" to 3-1/2".

The tool is capable of being used with a hand ratchet or breaker bar, as well as a hand wrench. During repair and installation of exhaust systems, a wrench turn is all that is needed to expand pipe. Hexe turning shafts are 3/4" in diameter they are made from forged alloy steel and are extremely rugged. (DO NOT use air power impact tools on the expanders, doing so will cause damage. You should only use hand wrenches or ratchets, and not other tools)

The system For the old farm tractor, the biggest unit was used to increase the muffler

My muffler material was thicker than normal exhaust pipe, but it still expanded the hole enough to fit over the manifold pipe. I needed a few thousands or hundreds of an inch to fit the muffler over the manifold pipe. I found it to be a great solution.

My first use of the tool broke the tool, A new one is being installed by the company

*Ed. I will receive a new one from the company soon, and we will see how that There is no way to work with the tool. It was purchased to expand exhaust pipe (which it is designed to do), and the tool broke into several pieces, and the press screw stripped, making it difficult to remove. I greased the parts prior to using it, in hopes that it would move more smoothly, but no result was found. The expanders I've used in the past have generally worked as advertised, but this particular one did not perform effectively.

A small amount of damage has been done to the interior of the case, but it has no bearing on its operation. I thought the product was great, and also the expansion mechanisms were in great shape.

One expansion bolt was stripped when the item was delivered. I could not return it because it had expired by the time I attempted to return it. Awaiting to see what will be done regarding this.
