The answer depends on a number of factors. Trying to pass an emissions test? It may require several attempts with several different bottles. Additionally, you have to consider how much damage your catalytic converter has done. If you have a problem cat, this isn't going to work miracles. Cats that are not completely packed work very well with this tool. There is too much vagueness in your question
Most of the time, that could be your heat shield or it could be the honeycomb inside your catalytic converter that is broken and rattling loose, so the motor won't run as it should if it's rattling make sure it's checked.

Although I don't want to just say that it works without providing details, it might be difficult to demonstrate this since there is no objective measurement or data. This is a long story, but I will try to put it into a nutshell so you can understand. I have a 2005 Honda Pilot with over 190k miles on it. As I was driving one day late last year, the check engine light came on for the first time and went off before I had a chance to take it to the shop for a checkup. As soon as I mentioned it to my mechanic when bringing my car in for maintenance, he checked it and said that it was probably the catalytic converter and urged me to monitor it closely, and if the problem persists, I won't have to check or fix it I am not sure how often the light came back on and then off, but it stayed off for the most part. The car passed the emissions inspection at the end of 2019 without any issues. Due to Covid and working from home for over nine months out of the year in 2020, I did not drive the car very much throughout the year, probably about 300 miles each month (it used A third of the original amount Monthly mileage of 5,000 miles). As time went on, the check engine light came on and off more frequently. I was shocked. I got it to work. The last thing I expected was It would have been hard for me to believe this if it was in a review. The review would have appeared to be a fake one to me. Even so, I am honest when I write my reviews and I am certainly not a soft touch.
Having an engine light cycle on caused me to apply this treatment to my Silverado. As I ran it through my fuel system as instructed, the truck was running smoother, and the engine light went off (it may take a few days for it to adjust itself). It was a pleasure to give it a try and I will use this in a couple of company vehicles when they need cleaning.
The service engine light has been on for well over a year on my older car. Catalytic converter code - the most dreaded of all codes. My error message kept coming up when I switched from premium gas to standard gas and tried using an ODB2 tool to clear the code on my own. Well, everything came to a head when I was required to get a smog check this year so I could renew my registration. In a blog I found, cataclean was listed as a rival product that might work, but when I searched on Amazon, duralube was about $10 cheaper and listed as "Amazon recommended," so I bought In addition to the duralube, I filled a 3/4 tank of premium gas with gasoline I was horrified to see that the service engine light had come back on since the catalytic converter had failed. The following day I topped off my tank to full (because I was concerned about gas shortages/price hikes after the cyber attack on the pipeline) and reset the error code. The error remained clear after about another 1/4 tank of driving (maybe a half tank total) with the dura lube, and my virtual smog test from the ODB2 tool passed (see below). Today, I went for the real smog check and it passed without any issues. My savings were over $1,000 thanks to this product! For those of you in states that use smog checks, be sure to try this before buying a new converter if you get the catalytic converter error code. There isn't much to lose and you have a lot to gain. I really saved a lot of money by cutting costs that much. A more enthusiastic recommendation could not be made for this product.
The vehicle handles better after it was fitted with this! I would have caught it sooner if I had noticed. I think this product is good in general.
One thing to consider here is whether the catalytic converter is actually dirty or clogged. All the people who report this didn't work or had problems probably need to get As for me, my 2006 car does not need to undergo emissions tests because it has passed them in the past. That's a point to keep in mind for potential buyers. The answer to this question is no, but I am also not going to say that the answer is no.
It says to clear the system after installing the gas tank but I did not do that. As such, I will continue to use them until I have emptied out all six bottles in three tanks of gas. The money was spent because T urged me to do so. Don't forget to add the truck shows. As of yet, the hosts have not seen any success. On a 2008 Ford F 250 Super Duty, there are only 45000 miles on the motor. Despite its storage for six years, it is still in perfect condition.
