Proform 67414 Self Powered Timing Light

In my first impression of the package, I noticed the plastic of which the light was made was very As soon as I put the batteries in as directed on the sticker, the flashlight did not operate. I had the same experience as one of the other reviews the timing light was not what it appeared to be. The entire product is made of plastic and is Compared to other flashlights, it is rather rubbish but I did not purchase it for that purpose. A set of batteries is included with the Timing light. My D Cells are past their use-by date, although they were still delivered as promised to me. Aside from that, none of the instructions came with my light. I also didn't find that the orientation of the batteries was marked well on the packaging. It's easy to get to the spare bulb with the battery cover off, but the label doesn't tell me what kind of bulb it is, and it's not that obvious.

I needed a longer cord to connect the light itself to my old Jaguar's spark sensor (#1 cylinder towards An extra length of cable could be spliced in between in a matter of seconds. This is a very bright light. The timing light I use most is this one I don't even use my other two, which include a dial for advancing the light. The sensor snaps on the #1 plug so easily!

It is just so quick to pick it up, snap the sensor on, and hit play! The unit is heavy and metal in appearance, with a rugged feel. I am very pleased with the results.

The old one I had went bad, so I bought this one. The cars I work on in my shop have 6 volt systems, and I often work on old and antique cars with them. As soon as I saw that this was self-powered and at a great price, did not make a mistake, it is better than I thought. It is useful for anything that has a spark to it, and they don't. The device doesn't need a battery at all. The devices don't matter whether they are 12 volt, a 6 volt or have no voltage. The light is simple, sturdy, and very reasonably priced, making it an excellent purchase.

I purchased this item at the same time that I purchased the Flaming River FR1001. A friend of mine also has a 6 volt vehicle that I gave this to. I find the product to be quite handy, and the D batteries provide ample power to meet my needs. If you do not have easy access to the vehicle's battery to power a DC unit, this is a very useful product.

Taiwanese products are made. My Proform 67414 arrived with a plastic black body, not matching the picture in the advertisement and could not be used to make the new one. Chinese-made products are the best. A timing strobe works adequately, however a light function from the LED flashlight is rather.

According to the description, it is made of aluminum that has been machined. What it looked like and what it sounded like did not match up with The plastic used in this product is very cheap.
