Small outboard motors where precise timing is critical to long life require exactly this kind of timing belt. I would buy a replacement the moment the first one broke. The tool should be a must-have. As far as this model is concerned, only the pickup wires need to be involved It is much better than my old version that included a set of wires and clamps for hooking up to a battery on a boat or car. The product is good.
Exactly what needed to be done, well done.
While the timing light does its job, it isn't truly bright. Then again, I guess I expected more than that.
It is very helpful if you have an older vehicle with a 6 volt system and a modern vehicle with a 12 volt system. It could have been a little brighter, and the flashlight feature isn't very useful.
There is no way for me to use this. Using the timing light does not work as the test light button works, but the test light doesn't blink.
Works like a charm.
