all over the place. This is junk. is wrong with the one I have, the timing marks jump around a lot. After trying on multiple vehicles, it turns out that the light is defective. At first, I thought it was a problem with the vehicle.
This is an easy-to-use program.
My timing light broke after I used it twice. The first time the timing light worked, the second time it broke. It is now up to you to decide how to bring it back home.
I am not sure if it was accurate since I couldn't use it.
The first time it was used, it crashed. RPM could not be held. When the engine idled at 450, the display would jump from 450 to 2000 without being touched. We thank China for its assistance.
It will not work if you don't set advance in the light. This is a product I would repurchase.
It offers better accuracy in setting the timing on an old engine. Spec is 13 deg. I bought a Bosch FIX 7529 Digital Timing Light in order to do so. 1500 rpm is the speed at which you should advance. I tested the new Bosch timing light straight out of the box, and it worked as expected. In fact, after 15 to 20 minutes, During the first minute of operation, the Red led display was much brighter and instead of displaying 1500 rpm, it indicated incorrect 6050 rpm. Previously it indicated a 13 degree advance in timing, but now it indicates 95 degrees in ignition advance. The temperature is 5 degrees. There is nothing more to say. I will have to use my 45 year old Tachometer in my car dash and my 15 year old timing light, at least they are still functional. It's a shame that Bosch makes products of such poor quality. The fact that I read other reports of similar problems with the same timing light, and I still purchased it, shame on me. MAKE SURE THE BUYER IS WARNED.
