Product Description

The CP7529 Digital Timing Light from Actron is powered by microprocessors and features advanced features, such as a bright LED display, mode indicator lights, and a Xenon flash light

During the measurement of engine RPM and advance, and setting initial timing, check and measuring centrifugal advance, and measuring vacuum advance, the speed of the engine is measured.

This ignition system can be used on gasoline powered vehicles with conventional ignition, electronic, computer controlled, two-cycle ignition, or computer controlled two-cycle

A digital LED tachometer will display up to 99999 RPM an advance display will display up to 1/10 there are 2/4 cycle and RPM/advance mode lights, and a selector button for advancing RPM.

The flash has a super bright Xenon lamp, an all-metal inductive pickup, a durable ABS housing, and heating resistant overmolding on the battery clips. Offers English, Spanish, and French instructions

Is it possible to use this light on a six volt vehicle?

Is there any way to power a light with 6 volts? It's Actron's turn to save the day. NOT AT ALL! In addition to the red and black clips, connect a 12 volt battery to the red and black clips. There's nothing wrong with RPM, unless you are doing business.

The strobe is triggered by a trigger, is there one? Do you have to do anything if it does not automatically take place Do you want to shut it Until you have to press it again, how long will it be?

By default, the timing light is set to tachometer mode when connected to a battery. As soon as the ADV button is pressed, it will change to the advance mode and begin flashing until you either reselect RPM or remove the battery cable connections.

This is imported Chinese junk! Do not waste your time buying this timing light it will not work right out of the box

It is just another fine example of the Chinese junk imported to help the US become weaker in the global marketplace! There is a dire need for quality manufacturing to return home to the USA.

That's not the kind of smoke you usually inhale. This magic smoke is real! When that smoke starts coming out, you know this thing has a chance of never working again. There are tons of features packed into this awful design that you will never use or see because after the magical smoke is gone, it will never return to the device. This thing is guaranteed to EVER.

Their timing lights come in three different models, which are all contained in a single book. The types of each category are listed in their own sections. I have never used this type of timing light before, so I found it quite confusing at first. It would be helpful if it was sold with an instruction booklet that was specifically meant for this unit. In spite of this, I enjoyed using it, and its quality was much better than I anticipated. It is great that the flashlight option is available. This tachometer holds up to my high standards - I found it difficult to find a compatible one with my car. Tachometer with exceptionally accurate readings. For the same price, you'd be hard-pressed to find another timing light that comes with all of these features.

The reviews convinced me to buy this timing light. As soon as I hooked up the light, everything worked perfectly for the first two When the RPM jumped from one point to another, I became very concerned. In the next instant, the LED started to flash and the unit failed. My old, non-advanced timing light worked perfectly as soon as I hooked it up to see if there was a problem with my electrical system. No matter how hard manufacturers try, they are going to have quality control problems. I would like to replace the unit, but I don't want to risk getting another defective one. It's a good idea. I'll get a different light and try it out.

Stock that has been out of date

Due to the age of the package, it had yellowed and was fragile. How old was the stock I bought? I think it works, but it's a bit It would not be recommended.

I found it was nice to use at first, the light was also bright. I thought this would be a great timing & opportunity Take a picture. In the meantime, it starts to misread, causing the RPM to jump up scale then back down. The readings seem to be real, but I cannot believe which In addition to my friend's device being used after a few times, I found out his too after buying it from an auto parts store and paying a bit more for it. There have been only 3 to 4 times each each unit has been used, the leads have been properly connected,.

Anger is a very strong emotion. It didn't work out of the box with the first one I bought. It was a happy coincidence that they sent me a new one after I sent it back. Second one was used to time one engine. It sat in a box in the house for a year before it was used again. Once you put it back in to use, it first works well, then the display starts flickering and the RPM reading fluctuates. It takes fewer than 5 minutes for the rpm to read '-' I gave it ten minutes to die, but it is dead after ten minutes. As this is the first product review I have written, I am very miffed right now because I expected so much more for that price. The fact that I tried my best to keep it in good condition was an added bonus.

This is garbage

It only took me a few minutes to go through two For a while, the first one seemed to work, until I turned my water hose on to time the engine of my boat. When I returned it did not work. Haha. I thought I had a good one with the second one, but it only worked for two uses. Additionally, the second use results in the program stopping to work.
