My issue was found by using this system to determine which of the electronic ignition components was causing the problem. I spent hours swapping parts between two Honda dirt bikes of similar model in an effort to diagnose Despite both bikes working with the parts, when the one bike was tested the spark was not present. I removed it to see if I could possibly adjust the gap. The bike's voltage did not show at all when I kicked it, while it showed a lot of voltage on the good bike. I tried round holes, but I didn't have much My goal was to clean it off and return it to its original position. With the VPA, I could now see voltage on the multimeter. Is now running perfectly! There is no way to tell if the ground was bad or what, but the tool allowed me to figure out which component I needed to fix. This is a highly recommended book.
