There is a section in the PDF manual that I should have read before purchasing the item. "Normal" and "dormant" are the two modes of the 6 states. The screen is considered normal when lit up, while the screen is seen as dormant when it is off. When an item is dormant or has its screen off, it WILL NOT keep track of its energy use. It MUST ALWAYS have its screen turned on in order to retain its record. I reached out to them before I understood what was going on. It was said that "it was wired incorrectly" by the seller. There are no incorrect wirings in the module, and the pdf manual 2 indicates the system is functioning correctly. This item has an attachment 6 that is attached to this item. In summary (and also this review) although the item works quite well, the rating is lowered due to the amount of power that has to be used to keep the item working (both tracking and the bright backlight requiring constant operation). I don't like ones that add usage since we need to track every little bit of power used, so I'm sure everyone with one of these uses one because we need to keep track of every little bit of electric usage. While I acknowledge the need for power to keep the system working, it cannot be turned off 24/7 so that the usage can be traced. If you leave the screen on and check on it occasionally, you cannot connect to it and turn the screen off. You would still find that it is at the same location as it was last time you checked, the runtime would also be essentially the same as it was yesterday, and the power usage would be the same. In sum, I would just like to let everyone know what to expect. It will work, but at the cost of precious energy.
Setting up the unit was a little confusing, but the support team was able to help me. That was amazing - thanks a lot We have an AMERICAN SUPPORT PERSON on the other end of it. The baby was terrific, although I had to hold him for a few minutes. During the setup process, he made sure I was looking at the correct options and spent time supporting me. This is a very nice Install it in no time. Is a tool that tells me how much electricity the battery is drawing when the power supply is less than adequate. This feature also tells me how much my battery is charging when it is I can't speak to how accurate an AH reading is, but measuring across a 100amp shunt shows that amps and volts are very accurate. Even if no one else cares about the stats except you, this is worth this price just for the cool blue display of them.

This was the box I bought & the book In addition to that there is a digital meter to see current voltage and use of power. More to say will not be said. The results were better and we saved about $400.
A box would have been nice to mount it in if it was available for optional installation in a golf cart. Using this method, I am able to efficiently determine what time is best to recharge my device. There was an overcharge from my battery charger that needs to be corrected. In the end, it is worth the expense, and will certainly increase the battery life of your smart phone.
I was wrong when I slammed this. The shunt was not working properly, but now it is. I fixed it and everything works as it should. The power plus amp draw appeals to me a lot. The power consumption and amp reading will save you lots of time, and by knowing if your work is good or bad, you'll know if it's worth continuing.
On my modified electric scooter, I use this meter. The application is very functional and has a great deal of features. It also displays all the pertinent information With the supplier current shunt, it permits the user to actually see how much current is flowing into the batteries during charging. In most cases, those who reviewed the shunt and determined it did not work must have not hooked it up properly.
