As we approach winter and my car is approaching its winter storage capacity, I bought this voltage meter in order to make sure all battery and alternator parameters are within specification limits. In the event that the temperature drops below zero, I do not want to be left stranded. I have not tested the temperature measuring aspect of the meter since I only tested its voltage reading capability. I gave it 4 stars because I found the display to be a little too bright however, it would have gotten a 5 if it had an adjustment feature to customize it.

This is a great meter. One is in my boat to tell me the voltage of my house battery, another is in my car to know how much voltage is in my alternator. It was a good product and the colors are nice as well. Both of them are very easy to read, and I received one that was green and one that was blue. It's very hard to find a better pair of shoes.
Each car I own has one of these. I find them to be very useful. My only complaint is that you should be able to pick the color of the light illumination. A blue and a green voltage reading with red numbers were given to me. There is something more appealing about the blue.
Taking a meter to the battery to see the charging, charging factor, and resting state of my battery is much easier. The device is very accurate as I checked it against a meter and a thermometer and they both were dead on. My husband and I would gladly buy more of this product, and I would definitely recommend it.
The product has worked as advertised it was purchased for monitoring the basic "health" of various battery/charging systems on vehicles we use. Seeing a low number is a big help for me, so I know what to look into when I see my daughter or wife.
I really like these little units! They are bright and impressive! Maybe I could find a model with a charging port. Would be nice to have another model that does exactly what I want it to do.
