I am interested in a wifi model for iPhones and iPads powered by iOS The Carista app works with it, right?

The Carista add-on works well with it. The only problem is that it takes five days Approximately 15 minutes are needed for the scan to be completed. This is the time during which the phone should remain unlocked and unclaimed. It cannot be used with any other app, otherwise it will lose

The iPhone uses wifi and as long as you're connected to wifi, you won't be able to use 3G/4G so you cannot use data on the iphone. Is there any way to get around this restriction?

There were no issues with WiFi for me and it worked fine
5/5

It appears that the check engine light has come on in my daughter's car. I have a code reader II I bought a few years ago from Harbor Freight. But it always gave me Despite confirming that the reader worked with my truck, I could not get it to work in her vehicle. In order to replace mine, I bought a code reader that was packaged in a blister pack in a padded envelope. After having an auto shop check their code reader, I decided to purchase one myself. There were clear instructions as well as suggestions for apps that were appropriate for In my tests, I used an iPhone 4s paired with a couple of free The reviews I saw were negative because of issues with the WiFi, however, I was able to connect without issue. Those apps were OBD II doctor and fusion OBD II, according to my memory. In both apps, I was able to connect via wifi and read the code immediately. Fusion allows for much more monitoring and I was able to erase the code with the full version because I could erase the code and erase the Currently, I use the code reader to determine the problem and to clear the lights while I troubleshoot and repair. I'm still learning about some of the features, but for the most part, I just use it to determine the problem. I found a code for cylinder 3 misfire (when I looked up a P033), which turned out to be caused by a fuel injector issue, which I fixed by adding SeaFoam to a couple of tankfuls of gas. I have waited 3 weeks and the light has not come back on. As others have mentioned, I do not leave the reader connected all the time, only for an hour or so while troubleshooting and reading codes, so I have not seen any issues with the reader getting hot. I would recommend the following As far as I am concerned, this item is recommended. I paid full price for this product. I am only expressing my opinions about the product based on its advertised price regardless of the price paid.
If after extended use I notice any significant changes or the product fails to meet expectations,

Perfect! Just what was prescribed by the doctor
5/5

In my 2015 Mustang GT, there was a "dead cylinder" that occurred overnight. I tried a couple of things Google told me to try, but they didn't work. I found it best to get a code reader (I had never used one before) as soon as the check engine light came on. My first encounter with it led to an error message to the effect that the #5 cylinder coil was malfunctioning after a few minutes. As a result of the scanner, I was able to spot the issue more quickly. It apparently does a lot more than read error codes, which was not apparent at the time. Although it caused some damage, the problem was relatively easy to As well as buying a trap on Amazon, I caught the rat with a trap I also bought from them.

It is a great value, and it works almost like a plug-and-play OBD2 With the Dash Commander app on iOS, I am going to use it to control both my iPad 3rd generation and iPhone 6s simultaneously
5/5

I installed it on both the iPhone and iPad without a hitch (install each device separately) I did it! enters the information required by Veepeak automatically. While on the road, the refresh rate was just as good as the car's displays*
THE GOOD Price, size - small Larger scanners may intrude into the car cabin. 3 stars - Well made, packaged in a custom foam box insert for shipping. 4 stars - Easy installation.

What app you download will determine whether you can access it
5/5

The gadget is awesome! Despite two years of driving, I was able to read and clear the permanent codes on my 2005 Mini Cooper JCW and 2012 Chevy Volt. My installation of "OBD Fusion" cost $9 since the app suggested by the product was garbage. I cleared codes with an error code of 99. This is a great article with a lot of valuable information. I found that the "Auto Doctor" app performed similarly, and was able to tell me "battery (pack) health" on my Volt, which I was not able to find in any submenu or diagnosis. Here are some important things to know before buying an electric vehicle. With an iPhone 6 and the latest iOS, I was able to use the app. I really like how this works! It's awesome that there's a good connection! With the help of wifi, the connection is never lost, and the connection is also reconnected when you exit and enter the Being able to implement an OBDII system that is somewhat future-proof is good There is no need to limit the use of one manufacturer's It depends on what app you download for this reader to work. There is also ) speed, horsepower, torque, battery voltage, rpm, fuel rate, boost, and so on. Combining this app with so much great information in real time has made navigating my vehicles such an easy task over the past Several Hyundai Veracruz models are shown here, as well as a 2005 Mini Cooper S JCW and a Chevrolet Volt.

4/5

With my iOS version, I am on the go. I have been using it with my iPhone 6s Plus without any problems. The instruction manual provides you with a list of apps to use with the product. On the 2010 Honda CR-V it was very easy to use My Subaru wrx's 02 unit was hard to remove the first time since it is very short and the plug is placed deep into the unit. It is easier for me to remove it if I put some tape on it. Purchase of an extension is not necessary. This product is no longer available! 2/16/17*UPDATE
The product is no longer available! *UPDATE 12/21/17 I contacted Veepeak and they sent me a replacement set. There is no problem. The hope is that it will last.
