The purpose of the unit was to read 'check engine' codes for the truck I drive, a 2006 Silverado 2500HD diesel. AL319 reader did not work correctly, so I contacted Autel's tech support department. They told me that the AL319 will not work with HD trucks over 1/2 ton, but that they have other readers that do. In the advertisement, I did not see that caution mentioned. The sellers did not disclose this in their ad and that is why I gave them such a low rating.
