The product I reviewed once was not available in the reviews section when I went to edit it. According to the product, it works as described, and in my case, I was able to continue running it in V6 mode, even while it was stopped. Although I have read reviews claiming that there was a draw on the battery in my case, I did not experience it. It has been reported that some of the LRD lights are still on. I find the same to be true in my own case. My purchases from Amazon were based on the reviews I read on various websites. I am applying for a 2017 Cadillac XT5 I recently purchased used with about 44K miles on it. The tank is also treated with a bottle of Royal Purple MAX gas treatment. The results of this product are fantastic and I have been using it for years. I noticed a noticeable improvement in the vehicle's performance after 2 weeks. The illusion may be real. Despite the fact that I am not an engineer, my personal feeling is that constant turning on and off of the engine will reduce the life of it. When the cylinders are shut off, the pistons are still running. I just want to say a few things. In the unlikely event that anything happened to the unit, I would report it.
There is no doubt that it works. It annoyed the crap out of me to disable the stop-start system on my 2021 GMC Acadia. It did exactly as it was supposed to and I highly recommend it to anyone The support that this company provides to its customers.
The next Chevy Silverado will have a 4x4 V8 with a An 8-speed transmission with a 3L engine. I could get an extra 50 miles to the tank with this, however, I can't extend my step up bars when it is connected, so I only use it for long distance trips, I can do without it for city driving. Though the truck would perform better if they could fix this bug, I still feel it is worth the buy. It saves money and you can definitely tell the truck is more responsive on the road.
It worked briefly, but now it stops rolling back to the previous state.
