Those who benefit from it will spend more than they cost
5/5

Despite not driving it for a week or so from time to time, and installing it in my 2001 Pathfinder, I have had no problems leaving it in the car. I have set up my unit to automatically pair with my in-the-box device Syncs with the free version of Torque and pairs well with an Android unit on the dashboard. a real-world perspective The gauges on your dash show the current time in real time. The device has been used in my other two cars as well as on my Android phone without any problems. To have codes read at the auto store, I've already gotten a few short cuts through this app. You get the idea from the attached image, which is kind of fuzzy. A variety of gauge styles can be created to display data from the car computer with Torque.

I'm amazed by the awesomeness of this thing! You can then purchase the app for $5
5/5

It's a free app with limited functionality, but you have to sign up. Consequently, you will need to pay an additional $5 for the full version of the This is more than worth the effort. All of its functions are impressive. The first month it pays for itself, I bought mine in April 2018 and it still performs just as well as the day I bought it, Leaving it plugged in to my car is always a good idea. My car has a dashboard camera, so I can see what's happening at any given time. The best part is when a code is displayed, you can click it and it will prompt you to fill out the form. As soon as you click that, it searches the code on the web. Other code readers only allow you to get the code after which you have to search for it. A mechanic I knew had a Snap-On meter that cost $10,000 Code readers say this is a more convenient method. It is not possible to read the code since most code readers are expensive. It has nothing to do with the code. As a backup, I'm buying a second one just in case the current one gets damaged. This is how well they work! Everything I do about it is told to everyone. Definitely worth your money! Definitely worth buying! A $15 discount is available for I THINK THAT'S MORE THAN ABOUT WORTH IT TO BE ABLE TO DO YOUR OWN DIAGNOSTIC OF A CAR. They are not paying me for my testimony nor are they providing me with any benefits to say this. The reason I believe it strongly is because I strongly believe.

An ODBII reader that runs over Bluetooth
5/5

This device is connected to the ODBII Bluetooth reader in your car and with the appropriate equipment, you'll be able to read dozens of engine parameters quickly and easily. It's important to note that the quality of the data provided by any ODBII reader varies from car to car In some cars, the computer might not provide as much information as a computer in another car would. It appears that the newer your car is, the more information your car's computer is able to send to you via its ODBII connection. Torque has no problems working with this Bluetooth reader. Torque itself is responsible for any minor irritations I have, not this Bluetooth I thoroughly recommend this reader since it has worked well and has been easy to use for me.

A low-profile job that just gets the job done
5/5

This is the second phone with which it can be paired and read from. Torque Lite/Pro and Triplog are both compatible with this extension. Whenever I fill up with gas, I want to be able to enter the odometer reading without having to manually enter it. When I realized there wasn't a standard word for mileage, I was surprised. In the U. S. , there is a nonprofit organization Distance since clear is represented by the standard code. There is a difference between the actual total mileage and the mileage covered on the Toyota Prius. A linear relationship is clearly evident, but as someone else discovered, there is a y-axis as well An intercept is not possible A slope of zero is not a slope of Let me repeat if I may this guy is an absolute genius Quite simply, it is the standards and the Prius implementation of it that present a problem Code that is standard. You can add the manufacturer's custom codes to Torque by selecting the specific model of your car. My Prius does not seem to be able to access all those, but I believe they can be accessed somewhat. Compared to other mileage readers, my money is totally wasted. On the other hand, I'm glad this one is priced so reasonably. This could be useful if you have the mileage since the last oil change.

I've never received a cheaper auto repair bill in my life! It was absolutely worth the effort! My 1998 Ford Explorer was showing the check engine light, and in seeking a code reader, I learned that there was an app (Torque Lite) for my Android phone that paired with this device to translate my codes into useful information about the problem
5/5

ordered it immediately and once the software had been installed and paired with my phone (it may take a few attempts at first) I had all the information I needed to find a tutorial on YouTube explaining what to look for to resolve the problem. During an oil change, there is a very common problem where an air tube can be dislodged from the air filter hose as the mechanic checks the air filter. I looked at it, and sure enough, it was disconnected, causing the computer to interpret the air supply for the fuel mixture incorrectly. The hose was reconnected and the initial error code was cleared and the problem was eliminated. For the price of this device, it is in perfect working order!.

I love the way it works
5/5

I got it after fixing the EVAP vent valve solenoid and I needed it to clear a code. In addition to checking my MPG, I used it for other purposes. The capability is good in my old car, which does not display any of those. I don't watch it all of the time, but it's good to have it. A big help was also provided when my car failed its emission test despite the fact that I had changed my battery and everything had been As some sensors like EVAP and O2 were not ready at the time of the emission test, I drove my car for a month and used this scanner every few days to perform the emission test. The sensors were all ready and I took them to the shop for testing, saving myself the trouble of guesswork or trips to the shop that would have been unnecessary. I used the Android app called Car Scanner on my phone. I found it to be very intuitive. My free version of the app expired after a couple of weeks, so I upgraded for a few dollars. It didn't work for me with the Torque app. Many reviewers are concerned about charging the battery while the car is parked due to the indicator light. Once I left it connected for a week without driving, and the battery did not show any sign of degradation. As a result, I think it will be ok to leave it in if your car is frequently used. This isn't what I leave on all the time. I use it only when I need to know a specific thing.
