So I put it to the test and decided to record some data using the data recording functionality - and guess what I found -- This may be due to a malfunctioning O2 sensor upstream. Computer kept telling me it was too hot (voltage was high. There are six to one. It was 2 all the way through), and the downstream sensor dipped to near 0 as the computer reduced fuel consumption. As a result, my short-term fuel trimmings have decreased About 30 percent. I've never figured any of this out since you never dropped a single piece of code for me to follow. The mechanical issue could not be resolved after I spent hours upon hours searching for it, but this electronic tool corrected it within There is no reason not to buy it, your time is worth far more than the cost. I was fully satisfied with the performance of this analyzer. There is a very good instruction book (which is fairly comprehensive) that can be referred to with minimal need for reference. I was able to diagnose the cause of my Check Engine Light (error code P0013) using this software. The VVT exhaust solenoid was faulty, and I followed a YouTube video on how to fix it. I went to Autozone for the new part, and used roughly 20 minutes to replace it. The system was checked again and all was well. Upon completion of the repair, I received a notification that the error codes had been cleared from the ECM memory. As a result, I will be able to pass the annual emissions test in Texas, which is required for registration renewal. It cost $125 for Chevy dealer to connect to OBD2 on their vehicle.
