I compared the results with those from a couple other battery testers and they seemed to be acceptable. For the price I paid, I can provide my own case for this device. My 4 year old car battery was suspected to be dead after having been used for a while. I tested it for about 110 and it had a 650CCA rating. My battery was taken to a store to be checked and their much larger and more expensive looking machine rated it as 97, no matter how you look at it, it was Some reviews mention that this device will ask the ambient temperature, if it is above or below zero degrees. As far as I can recall, my unit has not asked me what the temperature is. I can understand why the store's tester rated my battery lower, as their unit asked and that can have a significant effect on their results. The temperature was below zero, and, as a result, a storm was brewing. I need to be close enough to meet my needs either way.

You won't have to guess any longer. When it comes to my car battery, I have always wondered how it works. I wanted to check what is happening with my battery before buying a new one, so I first picked up a battery tester. It was nice to find out that this little tester would give me a quick result. My battery supposed to have a CCA rating of 700, but this tester told me it was only 240. My battery is almost three years old and it is the culprit. Seeing that I was so curious, I also tested the CCA on another car that had a few months old battery, and it gave me the right As a side note, I did not have to remove any terminals on my battery during my tests. The one you have here is very accurate and handy to keep in your toolbox for quick reference.

As far as I can tell, everything seems to operate smoothly. It is very rare for me to drive my car (it is brand new). The Battery Analyzer told me that the DC Voltage was little low and the CCA was very low, so I hooked it up to it. That is a matter of concern for When I hooked up the battery after running for about 20 minutes, I found that the battery had good capacity This gave a much higher CCA reading and the voltage was in the proper range. A few minutes later, I checked it again and it was still accurate. As I likely hadn't driven the car for over a week, it seems reasonable to assume that before I let the car run to let the generator charge the battery, the Voltage reading would be low and the CCA low as well (in my case at the lower end of the scale). My experience with the BT100 Pro Battery Analyzer is limited, but so far it seems to work great for what I need it to do!.

I was blown away by the portability and ease of use of this battery testing device. My BT100 Pro Battery Analyzer is so much more convenient than a heavy-weight battery tester and I'm glad I chose it over the BT100. My recommendation to all is to buy this product and keep it in your own vehicle as well. This has very great features that are incredibly easy to use.
