I just used these today and they are much smaller than most hooks, but I think that's actually a positive. In trucks, they're long enough to mount a caliper however, they're short enough to mount them on the springs of smaller cars that have less space for them. Overall, for the price this is probably the best value you can find for a set of 4. Nice bright yellow coating, could possibly be a little thicker but if you don't abuse it, should last quite a while.

The tool has proven to be very useful for holding brake calipers while performing brake repairs. It is faster and easier to use than mechanics wire. I bought my first set a few months ago for my auto tech class and it worked very well, so I just bought 2 more We reach agreements. Students can easily spot them when they are finishing up their work and picking up their tools because of their yellow color. Everyone who works with disc brakes should have at least one pair of these to add to their tool collection - I wish this was available when I started my career in this field more than 30 years ago.

I love the fact that it is very sturdy and a good size, neither too big nor The ones I got were to replace an older one I had forgotten on a customer's car (oops). They are a very useful tool and I use them quite often at work. One thing to keep in mind is that the paint will most certainly wear off after the first time it's used, but I don't mind since it's a tool rather than a I am mainly interested in the functionality of a product.

Reviews of products that just work are hard to come by. The hook I've provided is the right size and strength for the job don't worry even if you have big truck brakes. As long as you have a place where you can attach them, you shouldn't have any trouble.

However, they would be better if they had a better paint job done. Out of four I received, 2 had some paint chips on the metal, so I had to touch up the paint to prevent rust. Still not upset because you get what you pay for.

This works just fine. Does what it is supposed to do. The metal hook tool is nothing more than a simple piece of metal. Can you tell me what else Most people think it works fine but some men and women say that the paint wears off after awhile. There is no showpiece here, this is a tool. The paint needs to be kept nice. Why would someone care about that?.

Due to the fact that it could not be applied to the rear calipers on my 2011 Camry, I gave it 4 stars. My rear will use it, so I have to use it. My preferred option would have been to bend the ends There are no words to describe their strength. It would be my pleasure to.

It is important to note that brake hooks should be available in different colors. In choosing a bright color, I wanted to make sure that I could easily see it in black and grey.
