Hello, First of all, the little black connection kit for the pull handle has to be mounted in the red handle bar ring correctly, be sure it is not stuck out of the ring, as illustrated in the wrong pictures Second, there is a silver spring push block located on the red handle bar. The blades can be slid into the handle by pulling the blades down, as shown in the installation photos(the little picture 4 shows the blades). In case you release the spring push block back up again, the cold knife blades will not be able to be inserted into the red handle bar. All the items shown in the kit are included in the kit and are very detailed Nonetheless, the downfalls of this application are the performance of the system or the user experience. Though I don't have much experience in window removal, I like trying things out on my own and learning by trial and error. The project is definitely difficult, and you may want to consult with professionals to handle it. When the blade got behind the glass, I was unable to reach it without damaging the paint job, and when I did manage to reach it, the blade bent very easily and would not move. It seems it would be ideal for older vehicles with urethane that has cheap quality or maybe the urethane need to be heated prior to using this tool, either way, it does not cut like I expected it to.
As a professional auto glass installer, I find this product to be terrible. In spite of all the tools I had, I would only make use of this one when all the others failed to do the job, and even then when the urethane had already been cut, the knife still struggled to complete the smallest jobs. Purchase a good cold knife from another company instead of wasting your money.
Despite the set's lightweight design, the blades are very sturdy and durable. The handle, however, can not be compared in the same way. A two-time use of the locking mechanism results in a broken mechanism. The handle of the blade slipped off while I was working through a quarter window. A couple of days later, it would no longer secure. In place of my previous handle, I use the blades on a generic handle I had. One more of these won't be purchased by me. I will say again these blades are terrific.

This is awful. That is the most awful cold knife I've ever encountered. I have used it twice and it is useless. THROW IT AWAY. In order to obtain a REAL tool, I will purchase from my glass vendor. We used this tool for a decade, then I went into business for myself and decided to use it for the first time. The mistake was a total failure.
It was miserable to see the garbage blades bend in one glass and chip the paint. My glass guy came out to retrieve it for me.
